"We spent a week on Sanibel on vacation, eating dinner out most every night. Dinner at Il Tesoro was our favorite, hands down. It was a nice change from typical island seafood. We felt as if we were eating in a small restaurant in Italy. The food and service were terrific. I had the veal with lemon sauce, a traditional Italian meal. The veal was so tender I didn't need my knife. The lemon sauce was just right. Delicious. My husband had the short rib with gnocchi. It was flavorful and fell easily off the bone with the pull of his fork. Service was friendly, their recommendations were perfect. Next time we're on the island, we'll go back."
