"1st time and last time going there. I ordered patty melt that suppose to be a melt with grilled onions. When I got it the salad it came with looked disgusting, and instead of grilled onions I got raw onions. When asked to get grilled onions, I got onions that were put in the frier and then brought to me all full of the frying oil. Expensive place for the quality of the food. Ihop is way better than this place and I am not fan of Ihop either. It is way expensive and their ranch sauce was so nasty and on top of that I was not even advised that I would be charged for it either. They took the charge off since I didn't even eat it. It was worse than hidden valley ranch. I hope they get better quality food or better cooks that care about how they cook the food and comes out."

"Food is usually pretty good, the only thing that I don't like is that when u dine in, you get unlimited chips and queso refills, but if u order to go, you have to pay extra for the chips and queso you get free dining in. So before you give the excuse of carry out means they have to put the queso in a to-go container. When u dine in and ask for to- go containers for your left overs. It's the same thing. Plus dinning in, you get free refills over and over again. So technically to-go orders would be cheaper for the restaurant, because it's only one time, vs repeated refills when dinning in. I just think it's very stingy of them to charge for the chips and queso when u place to- go orders vs free when u dine in. I could understand if all you were ordering was chips and queso, then it would make sense to charge, but when your placing a big order and then they still charge u for the chips and queso you would normally get for free. ?????"

"The food at this restaurant is consistently excellent, but there's a significant problem with the number of flies inside. These flies can carry diseases and pose a health risk to customers. During my visit yesterday, there were at least 5 to 7 buzzing around our table. I had to swat them away from my food multiple times, and it seemed like the staff didn't view it as a serious issue. This is something that urgently needs to be addressed! Some may brush it off as "just a fly," but the concern is much greater. Flies can land on dirty surfaces and transfer harmful pathogens to our food. I sincerely hope that no one ends up getting sick from eating here. Please take action to fix the fly problem."

"I have been a loyal customer for quite some time and have never had a negative experience with the food or the staff. The food is consistently fresh and delicious, and the staff is always accommodating. This is the only restaurant I will go out of my way to visit from Freedom Hill just to order the Kaldo. The Queso is also enjoyable, with a mild heat that never overpowers the flavors. I have always received excellent service here, and despite the occasional language barriers with my children, they leave each time feeling happy."

"I really don’t understand the hype around this restaurant. The salsa was just okay, but unfortunately, everything went downhill from there. The chicken fajita tacos were served cold, soggy, and quite disappointing. They didn’t even feature real fajita chicken; instead, it was just seasoned cooked chicken with a few sautéed onions and peppers. The black beans looked more like guacamole. Although the service was good, the food fell short of my expectations. I might think about giving it another shot, but I’m preparing myself for more disappointment, just like my last experience. I seriously doubt I’ll be returning, and I still feel just as hungry as when I first walked in."

"I had a fantastic casual dining experience at this New Mexican restaurant. It's popular for a reason, and you may have to wait between 30 to 60 minutes to get a table, but the food definitely makes it worthwhile. My friends who are visiting from out of town opted for the combo plates, and they were amazed by the generous portions. They enjoyed all the choices: relleno, posole, enchilada, taco, and sopapilla. Everything was fresh, hot, and perfectly spiced. My wife and I tried the Green Chili Stew, and we both agreed it was the best in Santa Fe, featuring tender chunks of pork in a delicious sauce. I can't wait to return and try more items from the menu. The service was prompt, friendly, and very knowledgeable. The atmosphere is casual yet clean, and surprisingly not too noisy despite the crowds. This place is definitely a great spot, and I highly recommend it!"

"We visited La Margarita restaurant after a couple of months since our last visit. This time, I decided to try something different from my usual orders of Caldo de Res (beef soup) or Pescado Parrilla (grilled fish). I went for a chicken dish called 'Rio Grande,' which includes two chicken enchiladas, two chicken tacos, charro beans, and rice. The dish was delicious; the shredded chicken in the enchiladas and tacos was very flavorful. The rice was good, but I felt the charro beans might have been slightly overcooked. Overall, it was a satisfying dish, but I think I'll return to my usual favorites next time."

"Patty and her catering crew prepared the food for my annual 4th of July Annual family picnic and set up as well as tore down the meal setup at my home. My wife and I were totally delighted with the taste, quantity and quality of all the food. The price was extremely reasonable. Chef Tom did an outstanding job. My guest were absolutely delighted with the food and complimented spread. No doubt Patty and Tom will be doing my Holiday catering from now and onward. Thank you Chaparritas for an outstanding job. "Both a hidden and yet well know Gainesville restaurant. The location has changed names over the years (remember Firpos? , but always has great diner style food in large portions. The food is nothing fancy just good comfort food. Cooks and wait staff are fun and friendly. Prices are mid range, but again the portions are large. You can order almost anything from the menu at any time; make sure you check out the specials on the board also. Walk in, take a seat, order something great to eat. Enjoy."

"my fiancée and I visited here on 10 september while we were on vacation. I was excited to taste the food, which thought we would have authentic fresh Mexican food, and it didn't get so challenged. we first ordered the chicken nachos and our chips were as delicate as when they were? ve was heated in the microwave, then we ordered the barbacoa tacos and the enchiladas. they are really good, but our main question was with the enchiladas. we have told our server that they do not taste very pleasant, I could burn froster. the server went and got the owner or the chef, I'm not sure, but I explained that they were not good and we didn't want them, they continued to say how they were? re them best sellers and that they were fresh daily and maybe we? re just didn't get used to the taste. she was really controversial. She finally took her off our bill, but her attitude was disgusting."

We have a program scheduled there tomorrow night that was booked in January - with a signed contract! We called today to lock in our 12 RSVPs. Since signing our contract in January!, Amy, the manager, had double booked their private room with "one of their best customers". They want to "accommodate us" by relocating us to their downtown location. Really. Not exactly accommodating TO US. We are going to Mahogany instead. Caveat emptor!"

"We ate there today and the service and food was great. The only thing that ruined our whole experience, was the urine smell coming from the restroom. It was nauseating. It's a shame that they would not do a better job of restroom sanitizing. It was aneat establishment, with good food and great wait staff, but that nauseous smell would keep me from wanting to return. Ismelled it when I walked in the front door, so it wasn't like it was contained to the restroom. I wasn't sure if it was justmold or a sewer smell, but I confirmed what it was, when I went to wash my hands. I hope they correct this before I try them onemore time."

"Great place to dine! Service was exceptional, food was excellent, and prices quite reasonable. The location is ideal, surrounded by the city's vibrant energy. However, street parking can be a hassle, so be sure to park in one of the nearby garages for a stress-free experience. "I had an incredible dining experience at El Maná! This delightful small business is operated by very friendly owners. We ordered the Saturday special, which featured Pepian, a traditional Guatemalan stew. It was absolutely amazing and truly unique, and the rice was bursting with fantastic flavors. We also sampled the chicken pastelitos, which were perfectly crispy and beautifully presented. To round off our meal, we enjoyed the platanos fritos, which were simply delightful. We paired our dishes with tamarind juice; even though I'm usually not a fan of tamarind, I found myself wishing I had ordered two instead of just one! I highly recommend visiting them. They offer takeout during the pandemic, and the freshness of the food made it feel like we were dining right in the restaurant."
