"I’m not sure what everyone else is raving about in their reviews, but this place is quite disappointing. The hot dogs were only lukewarm, clearly straight from a pot of water — boiled, no doubt. Perhaps some people enjoy boiled hot dogs, but I certainly don’t. The chili tasted like it was straight from a can, and I’ve had plenty of chili in my life; this was among the worst. The fries were like the frozen crinkle-cut kind you find in the freezer aisle at Walmart. They sit under a heat lamp and are completely unseasoned. While it’s nice to support local spots like this little hole-in-the-wall, the food just isn’t good. If you’re looking for high-quality meals, I’d recommend steering clear of this place. Those giving it 4-5 stars seem to be prioritizing nostalgia over the actual food quality."
