"I have a mixed review...the food was very good but there was a lack of understanding by the bartender on how to fix a drink. I got a martini glass with one sot of room temperature vodka and black olives in it...yes, black olives. A far cry from Vodka up with olives which should be a full martini glass with vodka that has been shaken over ice. and green olives added. The server was very helpful and it took at least 4 trips to the bar to get drinks right. The bartender couldn't even come up with a suggestion for a fruity, sweet drink for one of us when they couldn't decide on what they wanted. Again the food Surf turf, salmon and lobster tail were excellent. The chairs are way too heavy and tough to sit on since they are not made to contour to a body. Very straight up. Also very close to the next table and too heavy to pull out for ease of getting in and out of the table. I'm glad we went, but we won't be back. At that price point, they still have many things to work out to make it worth going back."

"Dominick’s was fabulous! Hubby and I went for an early dinner to celebrate his birthday and our anniversary. Wheelchair friendly main entrance, but to get up to second floor in wheelchair is out the main entrance in another part of the building to get to elevator (stairs inside the main part on first floor). It’s nice upstairs. The roof was opened around 5:30ish. Staff is absolutely wonderful. Our waitress was excellent. She was attentive without hovering and very informative. The bread they serve was delicious. The appetizers were fantastic. The crispy shrimp has a bit of a kick to it. The wagyu beef melted in your mouth. The salmon was a large piece. All the side dishes were yummy. The desserts were heavenly. We have a lot of leftovers, except for the salmon."

"I have to start with the food being great. I was recommended by several people. The best Caesar salad I've ever had. The steak, perfect and dessert oh my God they were good. But more importantly, our server Sara was absolutely incredible. Of course, sick are back for food, but sick are also returned because of Sara. She was friendly, knowledgeable, fun at all about great person. I need to keep calling to make sure she works."

"We were so excited to try Steak 48 as it has such great reviews but to us, it honestly didn't live up to the hype. It was very good but there are plenty of very good steak restaurants in Charlotte. Be careful of choosing the backbar seating for dinner as they will very seriously seat you at the bar and not a table in the bar area. Sitting at the bar for a $300+, 2 hour dinner is a little awkward (think holding the menu in your lap while you eat your appetizer). Overall, we will very likely go back for a special occasion or two as it was very good and the service was impeccable."

The pairing is unexpected yet delightful; the jalapenos provide a spicy kick, while the pineapple adds a juicy sweetness that's simply delicious. To top it all off, their selection of wines and cocktails enhances the dining experience beautifully. My only complaint is that it can get quite loud inside the restaurant, making it difficult to have a conversation."

"Awesome bands come to play here and that makes it worth the trip.!!! The price of the food is fair considering the ambience and the entertainment.. The food I ordered which was pot roast with mashed potatoes was stone cold when they delivered it which is totally unacceptable. I had asked to substitute a vegetable medley instead of the asparagus. Some of the carrots and broccoli were so hard, as if they had just been cut and thrown in instead of cooking them first. I normally get the stadium tenders or pizza and believe me that’s what I will get next time! The waitress was as attentive as she could be considering the large amount of people."

"Our server was very nice and professional, but service in general was very slow and stilted. Our reservation was at 11:30, and we were seated promptly. We ordered drinks first, most of which came out quickly except for one soft drink, though our server did let me know it was coming (but it was odd that it took a long time to get a ginger ale). We ordered our appetizers after a long wait to place that order, and it was an even longer wait to get those appetizers even though we were one of maybe 3-4 tables in the entire place (it was possibly 20+ minutes to get two crab cakes and calamari). We were only approached to order our main courses at 12:10, so over half an hour after we sat down. We probably could have just flagged someone down, but multiple staff walked by, glancing at us and noting we all were just sitting with menus closed so I thought eventually someone would just stop and take our orders. Food was very subpar--the parmesan encrusted caesar salad was 80% chicken presented as a chicken schnitzel with way too much very salty parmesan caked on and clearly not freshly made (cheese was the texture of having dried out after being left out and then reheated). Strange tart (not the right kind of tart) caesar salad and not enough of it."

"For our 30th anniversary, it was a blessing to have come across a staff that really took the time to cater to me and my wife. Our reservation was a last minute decision, but by the way we were treated, you would have thought it was planned. We normally travel to the top Michelin Star restaurant in the world (just returned earlier this month from the no.1 rated in Spain, Malaga, and Portugal for a birthday celebration), but this year we decided to travel to CA, and stopped in at Ocean Prime while touring Beverly Hills. This turned out to be an excellent decision, as Andre, our Captain, was attentive, kind, caring and one who understood and embodied the mission and culture of the establishment. Andre and his little brother “Raul” (a running joke) were exceptional and made it special. Not to leave out the other staff, to include the hostesses who offered to take our photos upon arrival, and the valet attendant who was pleasant in just answering our questions, who also made it a memorable experience. Again, we are used to generosities such as these because we travel the world to eat at fine dining establishments; however, it was equivalent to our experiences at those establishments, and so it was refreshing to find it without it being planned. "Always a good time. One of best happy hours in town...until 7pm. Wednesday is good day for locals as bottles of wine are half price. GM Brian and his team continue to do a great job of not turning their backs to locals...as they balance the convention masses. Prices are always reasonable, parking is free and menu changes during seasons. Centrally located and easy access too. Food is well presented and great portions. French fries might be best in town. Curry spaghetti squash was phenomenal. Resturant is totally swanky with classic Hollywood feel. Staff is accomodating, efficient and personable. You are not treated like just a number here. They are happy for your business as know ultimate upsell is your repeat visit. Do yourself a favor and head in this direction, they are doing the right things. Well done!!!"

"I must say, I absolutely adore this Ocean Prime establishment. The service here is truly exceptional, and the quality of the food and drinks is simply outstanding. Luke, our favorite bartender, consistently provides a level of service that goes above and beyond. His positive energy never fails to brighten our visits. We also had the pleasure of meeting Alice, and her warmth and friendliness were equally delightful. Every time I step foot in Ocean Prime, I’m welcomed like friend by them, and it’s a feeling that keeps me coming back. The combination of the remarkable service, delectable food, and delightful drinks ensures that this place will always have a special place in my heart. Recently, Luke recommended the tuna tartare, even though I’m not typically a fan of raw fish. To my surprise, I tried it, and I found myself scraping every last bit off my plate. "Amazing salsa !! Great service and a fun environment !!! But they need better cooks with more than one style of cooking who know how NOT to overcook all the meat they offer. ALL dishes taste very similar! All with burnt burn marks on "whatever" meat, mixed with similar spices and all well done to finish cooking. The burned cremation, like a fajitas, but for every dish? This is the second time that I had to come here with the same results ... I refuse the next time I am invited ... Maybe have a drink because the mood is good and fun ... she just need better cooks ..."

"Service was excellent. The server was friendly and engaged, used dishes were promptly removed, and the timing between courses was good. I had the beef Wellington, available Friday and Saturday only, with au gratin potatoes and creamed spinach — all were well prepared and tasty. The only negative was the Caesar side salad I ordered. It was overly large, for a side salad, and the Caesar dressing was absolutely tasteless. Basically, a big bowl of iceberg lettuce with some parmesan cheese and croutons. Pricing wasn’t outrageous, but definitely high end. I will go again, but skip the salad."

"Our daughter and granddaughter gave us a gift card to celebrate our anniversary. It was our first dining experience. The menu has many selections, something for everyone. We began with the house salad, which was delicious. We shared the 10 oz filet with blue cheese topping and a twice baked potato. They were both perfect. Troy was a great server, professional and personable. Next time we’ll try the desserts."

"I thought New York prime was a very great restaurant. We’ve gone there many times, I had lobster and I could only get a 3 1/2 pounder. They don’t have anything smaller and the waiter cracked it and opened it up for me, my girlfriend had a junior fillet with the mashed potatoes and cheese, which was excellent. For dessert we had the famous cheesecake which we split. Looking forward to going back next month. "

"we asked if it is possible to divide the wedge, not a blue cheese or swash on one of them. no problem. both came with blue cheese and wobble. there was extra everything in small pods. When the server had stopped by my man, he had already eaten his 1/2. they brought a new one. steak should med plus, rarely came. I asked if they had a pfeffer grain sauce. server said yes, I am not sure what the sauce has brought. it was not a peppcorn, had a sweet taste. the food runner took him back when the server checked for me and the steak, he was now leather. the bill was almost $500 for 3 people, I was not able to see all the fees because the server took the bill before I could look at it. was curious if we were calculated for all additional items for the salat. we have enjoyed ocean prime downtown, it is amazing. our first time tries ocean prime in tech center. I'm sorry we're not back."

"This was a takeout order number 2E83B . This place continuously disappoints with the quality of food. I ordered A dozen cheddar bay biscuits, lobster baked potato and lobster linguine. The biscuits were dry, overcooked and did not have the buttery garlic herb seasoning. The lobster were overcooked on all the dishes. I was served with plain spaghetti noodles topped with overcooked lobster, my dish was not tossed in lobster sauce. This place lacks quality management. I drove back to Red Lobster to get my order corrected but I was given the same poor quality food. I do not recommend this location. If you are interested in buttery biscuits I would recommend Popeyes biscuits and if you are interested in seafood I would recommend you go to Crab Bite or destination seafood house."

"Calamari appetizer was delicious with an Asian fusion twist. Very lightly breaded and sautéed to perfection. The Lobster Bisque soup was gourmet with big chunks of lobster. Yum! The Chilean Sea Bass was light and fresh. The Blackened Red Snapper was well seasoned and enjoyed the palenta base. The Lobster Tail was tasty with clarified butter and asparagus. Dessert was the perfect end to celebrating a birthday by sharing creme brulee with raspberries blueberries and peanut butter cup pie. Justin was an incredible server; he described every menu item, answered our questions and timed our courses perfectly. Thank you for a wonderful evening! We’ll definitely be back"
