"The rib was well-seasoned and perfectly cooked, and all the sauces were delicious. When I drizzled chimichurri over the ribs, it elevated the dish even further. The churros were wonderfully crispy and crunchy on the outside while still being moist in the center. They were simply coated in sugar, with no cinnamon, but I enjoyed them just the same. They reminded me of churros I've had in Tijuana, Mexico.
The shredded pork was a tad salty on its own, but when mixed with the rice, beans, and sauces, it balanced out nicely and tasted great. The fried plantains were a fantastic addition to the dish; I usually dislike bananas, but I absolutely love fried plantains.
The "Ready to Go" version of the paella ($3) was decent, but I wish it could be a bit more seasonal in taste. I highly recommend adding the chimichurri sauce on top. It seems that some restaurants I've visited have either under-seasoned or over-seasoned their a la carte paella, Spanish rice, or Mexican rice—perhaps that’s what affected my experience.
I’ve included photos for reference, including a standard takeout fork and food service glove to give an idea of the portion sizes, and rulers next to the churros for comparison. I’m from Los Angeles, where the Hispanic food is unbeatable (if you know, you know), but this place will definitely be added to my list of favorites in Columbus."
