"Irving, Tx Location. I visited the location ahead of time at 12:30 pm to make sure everything go smoothly when we return at 4 pm later that day. The front host lady was impatience, standoff, and quick to help the next customers when I asked about our reservations and items to bring. I walked to the back to ask questions about prepaying for bowling, the gentleman was rude and impatient also, and could care less if he helped me or not. Mind you this was Sunday 5/21/23 at around 12:30 pm so basically it wasn't crowded in the dining area or bowling area. I left and my son and I returned back to the restaurant. We were the first to arrive, we were seated. My party guest arrived within minutes, and we were waited on by a waitress (I will not release her name) but she started out very distant and she seem to be sad or uninterested by her actions. My family also noticed it, so my mom asked the waitress why she look so sad and then she explained the reason that she was tired. The food selection was basic, choices were burgers, pizza, salad, and finger foods. Appetizers came out fairly quick. We had plain wings, cheese sticks and chips salsa which were good. Our main course meal was burgers, fish and chicken sandwich. We received our main course food probably 30-40 minutes later, which was pushing it because I had already prepaid for bowling at 6pm. The main course was basic nothing that give you that WOW effect very infilling, we pretty much left the dining room area and needed to order more food in the bowling area. We paid and was done 10 minutes till 6pm. We headed to the back, checked in and retrieved our bowling shoes. My son set up the lanes and we begin to bowl. During the course of the game we had many issues with our lane such as bumpers stayed up, the pins would not reset and our minutes were wasted while we hunt down someone to help us. May I suggest much better food selection and customer service personals. Overall this experience was a 4 out of 10."

"We 've been here for lunch on multiple visits to Ware. The servers have been really helpful, friendly, and on top of things. The food, however, has been right on the edge of okay sometimes better than okay, and sometimes a lot worse. My wife has found a couple of dishes that she likes, but that hasn 't been the case for me. I find the prices extraordinarily high for what are sometimes small portions that are hastily plated, uninteresting, and flavorless. As one example, the fish and chips cost three times as much as you would pay anywhere else in Europe, Canada, or the U.S.A., and yet they serve are about half the portion at one third the quality you would receive in any of those other places. My wife and I do agree, however, that the side of coleslaw with that dish is very tasty. The kitchen also does not seem interested in meeting a customer where they are. If you have any feedback or concerns about your food or want it to be redone they way you initially asked when ordering, rather than the default results from the kitchen you will be asked to pay for a redo. That 's pretty unacceptable in my experience, but it aligns with my final conclusions about what Hanna Devine 's primary concerns appear to be (see last paragraph of this review). On a more positive note, food does come out very quickly from the kitchen, and the alcoholic beverages are generously poured. Judging by high prices and low quality ingredients used in dishes and beverages at Hanna Devine 's, I get the distinct impression that maximizing profits with substandard fare is a primary objective of this business, and that customer concerns or requests simply don 't matter. I could of course be wrong, as other reviewers clearly have not had the same experience, but all in all this restaurant has left an unpleasant taste in my mouth."
