"Waiters looked very stressed and chaotic, bumping into each other and also not attentive to us. We waited 25 minutes for a basic appetizer and kept noticing how distracted the wait staff looked. One waiter got into a fight with a guest over a photograph he tried to take with his family (the restaurant oddly has a no flash photography policy frankly it was not worth the resulting fight for the waiter to call out the guest given the loud fight and cursing that ensued. Later that same waiter tried to enlist us in his support by telling us how obnoxious the other guest was after he and his family left. Unprofessional and unnecessary. . Then when we were served a complementary dessert on a nice plate we remarked to him how nice the plate was and he answered “Yeah it doesn’t matter if the food tastes like **** as long as the presentation is good.” We laughed but not because we found his comment funny it was awkward. Never again."

"Very nice food (from the starter to the dessert) Very good service Good wine list A bit pricey for what it is The truffle pasta at $125 is ridiculously expensive for the very very small quantity… probably only 40grammes (1,4 once) of pasta! Insane! It probably makes sense to have such quantity when you take the tasting menu (several starters and entrees) but very shocking when you take this dish as a unique entree… 125$… (more than $155 after tax and service for 2 spoons of … pasta) They could have doubled the quantity of pasta for that price ! Lost 2 stars for that reason…"

"Before the opera and restaurant was packed!! 4th time here. First time good , outside . ..2nd time great ... inside ..3rd off nite .. chef took a powder so figure we would try again. This time outside and very busy.. we had 2hrs before opera but they were slow at first.. when we explained we were going to the opera they definitely stepped things up and other than a cheese mistake on the salad all was good.. sitting outside is just so lovely! The safest thing that is great are the lettuce wraps.. I had the short rib which was very good..the escargot my friend was good then the scallops! Yum. Salad real good. Snapper another guest had was ok.."

"What an awesome Thanksgiving buffet! The food was delicious and the presentation of many of the items (salads, desserts) was wonderful. The seafood display was our favorite but we savored many of the other items too and left stuffed. We hadn’t been in to the Crown Landing since it was remodeled and we were somewhat disappointed. The noise level was high and unfortunately we were sitting across from the family with a very young child who kept squealing. It was disruptive during our entire meal. Too bad parents don’t consider those around them at times. Disruptive kids should be taken outside."

"We were pleasantly surprised by the food and the ambience. We live in the neighborhood and wonder why it took us so long to enjoy a great meal there. It's relaxed, it's delicious and above all our waiter, a really nice young man, was outstanding. "We were a table of 4. The Restaurant had 4-5 tables occupied with only 1 waiter, so service was slow and timing was horrible. We were sitting a good 15 minutes before we even ordered a drink. Ordered dirty martini with blue cheese olives and the bar tender had to come and tell us they were out of blue cheese and delivery comes Friday… it was Wednesday night. Questionable. Appetizers were ok except the tuna tartare smelled and tasted fishy and very bland. Our drinks were done and we were looking to order a bottle of wine before our meal came but the waiter did not notice nor ask if we needed more drinks but then our meal came out. So now we have our meal on the table, no wine list and to top it off the meals were not very hot. I had ordered a medium rare 22oz ribeye and the steak was cooked to medium well, which is extremely disappointing, even after cutting into the middle it . I have never sent a steak back but this was so pourly cooked that I couldn’t eat it. They cooked a new steak, which took at least 25 minutes or more, so all sides where cold and the rest of my table finished eating. The new steak was substantially smaller and of zero flavor. I have never had a steak from a restaurant that tasted so pour. Extremely disappointed for a $65 steak. My wife’s fillet was also over cooked but not to the extent that it needed to be sent back and even in the skillet seared with salt and pepper it was no flavor either. Another dish that was disappointing was the short rib, of which our friend couldn’t even eat half of it because it was a large piece of muscle and or fat and the lobster that came with it was actually pathetic as it looked like a small cocktail shrimp. Overall, for a table of 4 that where looking to have a good meal and good drinks and willing to spend for it, left extremely disappointed. considering the cost of the meal at about $300 per couple, the food was terrible and the service mirrored that. I would never go back."

"This is a cheerful, stylish place that can be a little loud. They honored our request for a quiet table, and Cate H., our server, was outstanding: knowledgeable, efficient, always there when she could be helpful, but never intrusive. The food, though good, was just a little uneven. Some of the greenery in my salad, for example, was tired; but all the sauces, the warm bread sticks beforehand, and the chocolate raspberry bomb dessert were to die for."
