"We always look forward to our visits to Albany because we can eat at dp brasserie. We enjoy sitting at the bar and the bartender, Raine, is great. She is attentive, knowledgeable and makes a tasty adult beverage. The food is delicious too! So many tempting menu items make it a challenge to decide what to have. We enjoy the stir fried noodle, the chicken Gabriel and the tallegio toasts."

"The food tastes pretty good, but is frankly WAY overpriced, even considering it’s in a casino. This is the first BBQ place I have ever been to that doesn’t offer a combo plate type meal. Everything is ala carte, but not really big enough to share, unless you only want 2 bites of each thing. The seats are flat wood, with no cushion. Quite uncomfortable after 15 minutes. The bread pudding dessert was terrible. Honestly the worst bread pudding I’ve ever tasted. I ordered a mocktail of a Mule, but honestly it just tasted like pink lemonade. Considering the base was ginger beer and cranberry, I really wondered if I got the wrong beverage served to me. Considering the draw is this is an Iron Chef restaurant, I was VERY disappointed, and won’t be back."

"My daughter and I ate at Hugo’s on Rush, Sunday evening, September 15, 2024. We thoroughly enjoyed our entire meal, and the entire staff could not have been more attentive or more nice. The presentation of the food was done well and the food lived up to its presentation. We split a shrimp cocktail appetizer, which consisted of 5 huge shrimp, which were firm and delicious.We each had a cut up salad wedge with blue cheese dressing, bacon and tomatoes which was also delicious. Then we shared a small order of crab legs with drawn butter and an order of their filet sliders with french fries. Every bite was delicious! We ended our meal with splitting an order of creme brûlée, which was cooked just right. The atmosphere was great, the restaurant was probably 90% full and everything went smoothly and seamless! I would definitely recommend this restaurant!"

"Hendricks Tavern is a hidden gem located in the heart of Roslyn. The service, from the valet attendants to the wait staff, was excellent and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The ambiance is warm, laid back, and relaxing. My wife had been wanting to try Hendricks Tavern for a while, so we decided to celebrate her birthday there. We made a reservation for outdoor seating and were accommodated without any issues. The food was superb! We enjoyed zucchini and eggplant chips, fried calamari, and a pizza as appetizers, all of which were delicious. For our main courses, we had Tavern BBQ Ribs and a 30oz Tomahawk Rib Eye steak, which we shared. The sides of creamed spinach, sautéed mushrooms, and hash browns were tasty, although the hash browns were a bit crunchy. Our desserts, carrot cake and homemade apple crisp, were also fantastic. The wait staff even sang happy birthday to my wife when they brought out her dessert, which was a nice touch. Overall, we had a great dining experience with delicious food, excellent service, and a relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend giving this place a try. Thank you to everyone at Hendricks Tavern for making my wife's birthday dinner special and memorable."

"It’s off season, but Bell and Anchor was busy and unaccommodating about moving our reservation up by 15 minutes. Frankly, our waiter was a wiseass. After our drinks arrived-almost one by one- the appetizers came shortly thereafter. However, we ended up waiting 1 1/2 hours for the main courses, one of which needed to be sent back because the well done burger was rare. The host tried his best to help out, but the waiter never apologized or checked in with us. We didn’t want to wait any longer for the burger, which we were told would be more than a few minutes, so shared one of the dishes. We frequent the restaurant off season and maybe the kitchen was just under-staffed, but I won’t be running back anytime soon."

"We went for my Birthday dinner. We made reservations and disappointed that they sat us by the patio door. A little chilly when the door opened/closed. Manager and hostess gave us nice lip service will do what we can about moving you (although their facial expressions didn't looked like they cared). I rated the restaurant as outstanding because of our server--Sharon. She made up for the disappointment, she was personable and attentive. The food and drinks were delicious. What began as a disappointment--ended in a nice birthday celebration. Thank you Sharon for being there!"

"I first visited Midgley's about a year and a half ago on a busy day. My company took a few coworkers and I out to a complimentary lunch. The sun was out so they had there side doors open. The environment was wonderful and the food was even better. The waitress was extremely attentive and completely sold me on the restaurant. Don't get me wrong the food is a little pricey but you are definitely paying for the quality and service. If you can not afford a $50 steak they have $40 three course meals every week. The steak is a pretty popular recurring one. I have been at least 7 times since then. I go every time with my partner whenever we have a little extra money than usual. My go to meals are the rib eye steak, or the tomahawk pork chop during the spring menu when it comes with the brown sugar and Fiji apples. They have the creamiest mashed potatoes and the best asparagus even though they're a little small. I have a reservation tomorrow and I can not wait. I 100% recommend anyone to at least try. Midgley's if you want a high end restaurant or even a bar to hang out at. If you do plan on visiting just make sure to make a reservation because they don't typically except walk ins unless you are at the bar. Below are some pictures from my different visits."

"We had a pleasant dining experience and found the staff to be very nice. We called twice to inquire about whether they serve dampers and were told yes. However, when we arrived, we were informed that they were not available. Coming from Long Island, we were looking forward to having them. Instead, we ordered clams, only to find out they had run out of those as well. It was 5:30 p.m., and we were surprised they were already out of stock. The staff was very apologetic and kindly offered us another appetizer on the house. We chose the crab cakes, which were quite good. We also tried the oyster appetizer, lazy lobster, and sautéed sea bass, all of which were tasty, though we felt they were a bit overpriced."

"We were late for our reservation, but Chuck's kindly held the table for us. Tableside Caesar salad was amazing. Our mains were bit of a wait, but before we could complain, our server apologized and they appeared shortly after. Amazing food and portions were well suited. Our steaks were perfectly done! Due to the small delay in our mains, manager sent over a sinful skor Sundae that although we were much too full for, we devoured. Excellent service and kudos to management for staying on top of service."

"We were very happy with the quality of the entrees at Fahrenheit. Steaks, pork chops, and fish dishes were all excellent. However, the service was not as expected, especially for the elevated prices for both food and drink. Bar tenders were not very friendly when getting a pre-dinner drink, and the time it took to get our entrees and dessert was too long for a relatively light crowd."

"We had a family gathering of 11 to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday. Our waiter, Jermaine, was excellent! He was very attentive, professional, friendly, and entertaining. Jermaine always checked in on us, refilled our water glasses and other beverages. We were seated in a great location and the food was amazing. The parking was convenient as we parked in a free parking garage in a handicap area. The restaurant was also very accommodating for our 5 grandchildren, ranging from 3 months to 15 years old. Jermaine and the staff made sure all our needs and requests were met. Great place for a family celebration!"

"C and S Restaurant in Vinings is one of our favorites, one we can always count on for special occasions. But, since my husband has been going through some medical procedures, instead of coming for dinner on his birthday, we came for lunch. The menu at lunch is a little different than the dinner menu and what a wonderful surprise!! We got to try some things that we haven’t had before. We can never get past RC’s Chargrilled Oysters because they are absolutely the best in town!! But, we had the New England Clam Chowder which was outstanding and we had the Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl that was so fresh and flavorful, with just a little spicy kick, that it made us vow to come back to C and S again for lunch as it was such a treat. Arnold and the staff always make you feel so welcome and the service is excellent. It’s so nice to be close to one of the best restaurants in town to celebrate a birthday!"

"service was excellent, but when our food was brought out, we received a $30 lobster roll that was the size of an appetizer. not a big thing, tasted great, but then, when the lobster mac and would be with a single piece of lobster arrived in him $24,) I made a sweat to the waiter about how ridiculous that was and he agreed, he said he was busy with him a lot and even took 50% of our bill for the mac and beeping that he didn't have to do. will never go back because of the food."

"Our waiter was nice and personable, he was the best part of the experience. Unfortunately the food here was an absolute disgrace. We ordered 3 appetizers, 3 meals, and got a dessert. Appetizer Review; 1) The artichoke was bland, small, and a train wreck. The sauces were borderline flavorless with no creativity. Huge saucers of cream for the tiniest artichoke, with barely any meat. 2) The baked bri…. WHY IS THIS DRENCHED IN FLAVORLESS GREEN SAUCE!? It felt like biting into a crispy piece of bread vs. a cheese. Barely any flavor, small, and nothing to write home about. 3) Fried pickles…. This felt like you went to the fair or carnival and got awful deep fried oil nothingness. Why was this not flavored or elevated in any way? No originality, and not worth the price. Overall the prices are not worth what you get. Meal Review: 1) Shrimp Scampi…. Flavorless and so much oil! There was no seasoning at all, if I’m going to waste calories on a scampi dish eating oil and butter; it better taste like it. I could not taste butter, flavor, garlic, lemon, or salt! Not worth $38. There is no passion in this cooking 2) Sand dallops….. I did not eat this dish, but it looked like a grandmas sloppy mess. 3) braised beef…. The driest smallest piece of meat ever with a bunch of awful sauce smothered on top to make it seem not dry. Potatoes were pathetic. Dessert Review: 1) Crème Brûlée….. this dessert was actually very good. It did not come out with a good temperature and the dish isn’t very deep, but it tasted good and is passable. Overall the food was terrible and not worth what you pay. The place feels old and dated with no passion and no one turns on the heaters for you outside. Waiter was good, bread was okay, but this place was so infuriating with how bad the food was for what they charge. I would have rather eaten fast food than pay for this horrible food."

"We ordered the Sunset and Dragonfly rolls. Both were excellent. Our server was attentive and prompt for most of the meal. Toward the end when the restaurant was getting very busy she was so busy that she forget our coffee. I suspect that like many other businesses right now, they were a bit short of staff. We found the piped in music quite unpleasant. It was loud, and once the restaurant was busy, all you heard was constant 120 per minute percussion."

"My wife and I went in for a late dinner after a long day moving. We had a shrimp cocktail that was delicious and the best part of our meal. My wife had a burger which was fine. I ordered the filet mignon and it was way over cooked, not tender and not very flavorful. The asparagus I ordered for a side were good and we both enjoyed them. I chose not to say anything at the time about the steak as I was exhausted from moving all day and just wanted to eat and not wait for it to be replaced. We agreed if we ever go back we will order way more shrimp and skip the steak."

"Our waitress may have been new, like first day on the job new so I don't blame her for the 2 star rating. Each time my sister and I ordered she came back 10 minutes later to tell us either they didn't have an ingredient for the drink/food item we ordered or were inflexible in how to prepare it. This happened 4x. We sat in the covered outside area, which was nice. The blueberry Martini had what we guessed were flecks of floating blueberry skins. It was a holiday weekend so maybe they just had such a busy weekend that their supplies ran out? But at least let the wait staff know so guests aren't ordering, waiting and disappointed time after time."

"The lobster guacamole was overly acidic, making it difficult to finish. Additionally, the mussels were not cleaned properly before preparation; every single one was gritty and it felt like I was eating sand. The shrimp was also overwhelmed by Old Bay seasoning. I ordered a mai tai with regular rum, but they served it with coconut rum instead. I usually visit this restaurant every year for my birthday with my family, but this year's experience was definitely subpar."
