"Our experience at Arrowleaf was slightly good. My wife and I drove from Seattle for our honeymoon. We hit a little traffic and arrived 10 minutes late for our reservation at 5:45. The waitress informed us we needed to be finished by 7:00 PM for the next table, which made us feel like we were in a bit of a rush with both ordering and eating, but understanable considering we showed up late. It did feel a bit odd because there were a good amount of tables open still, but maybe we just hadn't hit a big rush of people yet. We ordered food and cocktails. Cocktails were very good! Kudos to the bartender. When ordering food, we asked the waitress how much we should order for the two of us. We wanted to try different things, so we decided to get multiple appetizers and one entree. The waitress told us that 4 appetizers and 1 entree would be a good amount to order. Here's where the night took a turn for the worse. Our food arrived and the portions were massive! All came with some form of bread on the side as well. Most of the food we got didn't taste all that amazing, it was just alright. We got the short ribs for our entree and it was nothing special, just short ribs (cooked well though! with everything else not really tasting like much. With that in mind, the plates seemed very expensive because the quality relative to the price was not appropriately balanced. They are attempting to give a fine dining experience, but don't follow through on the quality, so at the end you just feel ripped off. Overall, 3/5.
