"Upon arriving at the restaurant, I was led to an area I wasn't familiar with. When I inquired about the seating, I was informed that the section I preferred was only serving walk-ins, while the area I was placed in was designated for reservations. The two sections of the restaurant have completely different atmospheres, and I felt let down that I ended up in a part I hadn’t anticipated. I had made the reservation with certain expectations in mind, as the ambiance is just as important to me as the quality of the food. While the food itself was good, I found it odd to have two distinct dining areas, which detracted from the experience I was hoping for. The section I preferred is, in my opinion, much more beautiful. If I could do it over, I would skip the reservation and take my chances on seating in my preferred area. I was also frustrated that the staff didn’t seem willing to accommodate our desire to sit where we would have preferred."

"Excellent ! We loved the food and the drinks! Innovative and interesting menu and the dishes are as tasty as they sound. Four of us shared a sampler appetizer plate, Mantoo, A vegetarian plate, and Beef Kofta kabob with saffron rice. The portions were ample, but not huge, and had distinctive, well balanced flavors. We will be back!"

"Booked an early dinner, wanted to check this place out for a while. Having read some of the reviews, I was a little reluctant, but we were promptly seated. Ordered drinks, the bar was a little slow, but nothing to complain about. My wife ordered the steak salad, which was good. I ordered the prime burger and sweet potato fries and a salad. Burger was really good, two patties cooked to order, they brought fries instead of the sweets, but they corrected the mistake and the sweet potato fries were tasty. Would have been better hot. The salad was fresh with two big strips of bacon. Overall the food, service and ambiance of the restaurant was between fair and good. Might give them another shot, but wouldn't rush back."

"We held a graduation dinner here on June 11th for 16 people. We coordinated with Grace about 1 week prior to the event date. She was attentive and a pleasure to work with. Even with short notice, they were able to accommodate our request for a paired down menu with 2 entrée options. Everyone we worked with provided exceptional service and made us feel comfortable hosting our special event. The night of David and his team were excellent hosts and all of our guests walked away satisfied with the food, service, and atmosphere. For our event, we were in a private dining room with nice views and ambiance. I can strongly recommend Vita Italian Bar Grill after having one private dinner (party of 2), and the larger event (party of 16). In both settings, the staff was incredibly nice and made us feel comfortable. The food, setting, and service were all complimented on by our guests and everyone left satisfied by the experience. Another shout out to Grace David and their team for treating us right and delivering a memorable night."

"Highly recommend this place for dates and group hangouts! The atmosphere of the Vortex is incredible with open seating, delicious food, and the Butterfly Bar for mixed drinks and canned beers. Patrizi's itself is a dime! What I Recommend Karah's Diavolo (best item on the menu in my opinion). This pasta has a slight spice but flavors meld together so well! Their Meatball!!! I know it's an expensive with it being five dollars per meatball, but that flavor is undeniable. Literally one of the best meatballs I've ever had. Succulent. Perfectly seasoned and paired with a robust tomato sauce. Highly Recommend. Their Blackberry Cornmeal Dessert OMG this thang is good!!! Mascarpone on the bottom of a bundt style cornmeal cake drenched lightly in simple syrup and blackberry confit and garnished with mint leaves. Need I say more? Just get it. What I Don't Recommend The Garlic Bread I have told this to a few people and actual gasps came out. Apparently, apparently this is a fan favorite, but my experience was very subpar. There was way too much Parmesan (which I felt had a weak flavor to it regardless) and the garlic was extremely cold with the bread being slightly warm. I just felt like the different temperatures and the amount of ingredients just did not pair well. The Bruschetta also another gasp when I tell people this. My experience with the bruschetta was mid at best. I felt like there was zero flavor and especially for the price was incredibly underwhelming. Their Chicken if you are going to get a protein, get the meatball. I've had the chicken twice and both times it was dry. It doesn't taste bad, just meh and I think does the experience a huge amount of injustice. Overall: I have lived in Austin for about five weeks and have already been here three times. The pasta mixed with the vibes is totally worth it. The main reason for the four stars is that I have been slightly disappointed by a few of their items so I feel I want to set expectations well for people that if they get the appropriate things, it's a five star experience. But if you are picking at random, you could possibly be disappointed. I will be back and I still highly recommend. Hope you enjoy."
