"For appetizers, we ordered arancini served with a delicious sauce; they were crispy and perfectly cooked. We also enjoyed a wedge salad topped with blue cheese dressing and bacon, which was a good portion and the dressing was delightful. My partner ordered the salmon with mashed potatoes. While the salmon was a tad dry, it had a lovely flavor, and it was accompanied by roasted vegetables.
As a vegetarian, I opted for the simple mac and cheese, paired with a side of buttered broccoli, which was cooked just right. The mac and cheese was as wonderful as my home recipe, made with multiple cheeses and a hint of smokiness. It had great flavor and the serving size was perfect. It just needed a little more warmth in the center, but that was quickly resolved in under a minute. We also enjoyed roasted bread and cornbread muffins, which were delicious.
We were too full for dessert, but I highly recommend Monte's for dinner if you have the time to enjoy the scenic drive there!"
