"I want to give 5 stars because we 've been regulars for 3 years now Why I can 't give 5 stars is because whomever is at the register no matter what day or time of day the service is unfriendly...I don 't think I 've ever been greeted by a smile or :How can I help you? ...you 'll barely get a cold Next if you 're lucky...also when they drop off the food rarely is there Can I get you anything else? and don 't go back in and ask for a to go box...I guarantee you will be ignored...I don 't want to dissuade anyone from going here...it 's great food relaxing environment and the customers are all very friendly....a friendly greeting would go a long way and I might start putting a tip back on the bill if I get an warm welcome"

"Taylor Ham, Egg and Cheese on an Egg Bagel with Pepper and Ketchup. The egg bagel was huge, Taylor ham was thick and it wasn’t too salty. Great sangwich.I also got the same as above but with bacon. Again, huge bagel, not over salty and finally, someone who knows how to cook bacon! Crisp, browned and piled on. Again, great.Large Roast Beef and Swiss Sub Sangwich, L,T, Mayo, O&V, S&P. It’s actually 1.5 12” subs. No complaints. Fresh sub roll, nice portion of meat and cheese, all toppings were fresh but the tomato wasn’t ripe. Still, very good.Chicken Cutlet, Swiss, L, T, Mayo, S&P. Came on a Kaiser roll. Toppings are very fresh and tasty. Good seasoning. Generous portion of Chix Cutlet but the meat was a little tough. Still a very enjoyable sando.4 stars overall. I will order from here often. Just a great Jersey deli and close to where I work! Great job guys?"

"To make matters worse, the individual who seemed to be the manager appeared utterly uninterested in addressing the issue. Their lack of concern for customer service was clear, and it was obvious they had no intention of rectifying the situation or even acknowledging the problem. In addition to the dreadful customer service, the overall cleanliness of the cafe was significantly lacking. The tables were dirty and neglected, which made me feel uncomfortable during my visit. As a paying customer, I expect a certain level of courtesy and respect. Unfortunately, my experience at Bagel Bakery Cafe fell woefully short of these expectations. It’s disheartening to see a place that claims to offer quality service and products fail so badly in practice. I had hoped for a nice visit to enjoy some delicious bagels, but instead, I encountered an unprofessional and neglectful environment. The lack of attention to customers and the poor state of the cafe is simply unacceptable. I will not be returning to Bagel Bakery Cafe, and I would strongly advise others to think twice before visiting. It’s clear that they have a lot of work to do in improving their customer service and cleanliness standards. I believe businesses should value their customers and take feedback seriously. Unfortunately, my experience at Bagel Bakery Cafe shows that they have a long way to go in understanding the importance of genuine customer care. I am left feeling disappointed and dissatisfied."

"We love this place! What's there not to love? Fresh, delicious bagels, friendly prompt service, so much goodness in one location. It's all good! They have bagels, cream cheeses, sandwiches (paninis, and any other kind , entrees, desserts, chips, beverages galore, pretty much anything and everything a bagel or delicatessen would have. Perfect location, plenty of parking, in a shopping plaza with choice other businesses. One of the best places around for cuisine and chilling, as there is plenty of seating as well! Good go to and regular spot for us. ;"

"This is the very first bagel shop that has not only gotten my order right, but has also made the most delicious Egg with Bacon, Ham, Sausage, or Taylor Ham I have ever tasted in my life. I specified in the notes that I wanted my bagel toasted with salt, pepper, and ketchup. Until now, I’ve never received my order exactly as described from anywhere else. I noticed that the delivery driver was there while they were preparing my food, and just 12 minutes after placing my order, I received the hottest delivery I’ve ever had. I typically dislike delivery because the food is usually cold by the time it arrives, but this was fresh out of the oven. It felt like Superman was working for DoorDash, and Gordon Ramsay was crafting the sandwiches here, because this sandwich was so perfect that even the day after, I want to order another one. I am the pickiest eater on the planet—I actually have OCD, which typically makes it rare for me to finish a delivery meal after just one bite. But I devoured the entire sandwich, something I have never done before. If you have OCD and appreciate your food prepared exactly as you ordered, delivered promptly to your door, then this is not just the best bagel place on DoorDash; it's the best bagel place on the planet."

"The food wasn't inedible, but if a bagel shop can't make a sausage, egg, and cheese.... they deserve 2 stars. We've been trying all the local bagel stores and this is the clear loser so far.Bagels: I'd give the bagels themselves a B-. They lacked the good chew and crust' of a real NJ bagel. And they only had about 10 bagels left at noon.Timing: It took us about 30 minutes to get 2 bagels and a sandwich.Food: I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel the classic breakfast sandwich. They didn't toast the bagel, the sausage was very homogenous processed mcdonalds-y type sausage, and there was no cheese. NO CHEESE. A tragedy. I had to microwave it at home with my own shredded cheese. Ugh.My friend got a reuben on toasted rye, which arrived on untoasted bread. By the time we got home, it was pretty soggy and falling apart. The pastrami was decent though. Supposed to come with a side, but didn't. so. cool.The everything bagel with veggie cream cheese was average, but also not toasted as requested.Oh, and I asked for ketchup. and they gave me..... Mcdonald's ketchup packets? y'all can't even buy your own ketchup?and not for nothing, about 4 of the 6 people in there were straight up not wearing masks. They weren't eating, and 2 were clearly high on heroin and coughing opening. In a pandemic.Sorry, y'all. we won't be returning. At least not until you get a toaster."

"I went in there and asked for an onion bagel with taylor ham n egg. While they were making it a friend of theirs came in and he got his coffee n my taylor ham n egg and left. I had to wait again and when they gave me my order I took it home n it was an onion bagel with one piece of taylor ham , no egg n it was cold. No one should be treated this way because their friend comes in, he should have waited just like the rest of us. I will never enter the doors of this place again. Horrible customer service!!!! The girl at the counter was nice but that got me no where"

"I found the plain bagel I had here to be excessively doughy. I'm not a professional baker, but I suspect that they didn't let the dough proof long enough. My spouse tried a sesame bagel sandwich, and while that bagel was slightly less doughy than mine, both were still too hard, in my opinion as a semi-expert bagel reviewer. I much prefer the bagels at Alfa Bagels in Randolph (though they might use a bit too much sugar for some) and Mountain Lakes Bagel and Deli (even if the staff there often seem a bit out of it). We don't visit this place often because of an incident involving a young woman who worked here a few years ago. Overall, I would rate these bagels at 2.5 stars on my bagel scale, but I'll round it up to a three since the baker wished us a nice day as we left."
