"I have been to the Richmond location many years ago but this is my first time at the Hyde Street location, I brought my girlfriend here for her birthday and I had the frittata sandwich and she had the bibimpop. The frittata was good and tasted like egg. My girlfriend felt the bibimpop was a little too much sauce that made it salty so ask for the sauce on the side. Thebibimpop could have been a little more creative with veggies maybe carrots and beets to add color. We also had matcha and chocolate chip cookie. "Won't be going back. The deviled eggs were the only redeeming quality. The space had potential aesthetically, but there was trash throughout on the ground and the door was open so there were tons of flies. The service was strange, the server would come to drop off food but wouldn't gather plates that we were finished with. It took a while to get drink refils, but she was kind. I ordered a burger which was so bad, I took one bite and was afraid it would make me sick if I kept eating. The bun was soggy and burger was dripping blood, yet seemed overcooked. The meat was gray in color, like it had been left out for too long. The chips (side dish) were mostly broken/crumbs from the bottom of the bag. Overpriced and the server never asked how the food was, even though she could tell I wasn't eating it. Bad experience for a place I was excited about in a prime location."

"I am pregnant and ordered a mocktail. To my surprise, Aurora has clean spirits! The flavor of liquor without the alchocol. They went all out, and I got the same quality as a craft cocktail! Some places have litterally told me they would have to charge me full price for fruit juice because they were so unprepared for offering alchohol free beverages, which is isolating for sober individuals. I ordered the Auroa Bowl, which was very nutritious and refreshing, but left me wanting for more substance and unsure how it is meant to be eaten, as it is a mix of fresh and pickled veggies, two spreads, and sourdough bread. I thought it was a little overpriced as well... I think I would have been happier with the short rib option, as I am not a veggitarian, and I believe it came with a heartier grain side, as well. My partner was pleasantly surprised to find chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes on the menu, and our friends split a burger and fried chicken sandwhich and fries. There's something for everyone on their new dinner menu! I want to go back for their chicken and waffles and espresso martini!"

"We made a reservation through OpenTable a week in advance and received all confirmation communications leading up to the date. However, when we arrived after driving over an hour, we were surprised to find that the restaurant was closed with no explanation. Despite attempting to contact them by phone and seeing no indication on the door, we found no answers. This situation was particularly disappointing as we had coordinated to meet another family and pick up our cadets from a nearby military academy with limited leave time."

"I have been frequenting this lovely little creperie since lockdown in fact came across it on the way to get my first vax. This has become my go to for a walkabout with a delicious bite the proprietor and staff are lovely, and they have a full breakfast menu besides the crepes! A godsend for me, as they also do gf and vegan and they just introduced a more robust vegan menu! Added: Came back with dad for treats crepes, french toast and coffee. Delicious!!"

"The small plates and charcuterie boards were delightful, and the oysters were fantastic. The $14 cocktails were also impressive. However, I would recommend steering clear of the Iowa Martini. Unfortunately, my burger was underwhelming; the Sriracha pickles tasted more like fresh cucumbers than anything spicy. My partner's half chicken was burnt, which contributed to my decision to give this place three stars. On the bright side, the service was excellent, but it feels like there's a disconnect between the kitchen and the pricing. After leaving a tip, our bill reached $250, which is quite steep. This isn't a restaurant I would revisit regularly. If you're in the area and looking for a nice meal without the distraction of loud wedding music from the hotel event room, I'd suggest trying Bubba, Fresko, or Proudfoot Bird instead—they're all better options."

"I enjoy Avalon a lot. Their bread is healthy and made from few ingredients they don't sneak preservatives and unnecessary ingredients in. They always have a wide variety of vegan desserts and sometimes vegan foccacia. On top of it, they treat their employees well and pay them a living wage. "I've had an amazing experience at this restaurant! It took me a while to try anything other than The Fckn Good Burger (and let me tell you, that burger is out of this world—I find myself craving it often). Once I decided to branch out, I ordered the mushroom panini and several breakfast burritos, and wow, each dish was impressive in its own way. I can’t recall the name of the first coffee I tried, but it was like a smooth, rich cloud—fluffy and perfectly balanced. The food is delicious, and the coffee is incredible. I absolutely love this place!"

"I absolutely adore The Crafted Cup! The value for your money is fantastic, with generous portions of delicious food and drinks. The staff is wonderful and quick to help if there's ever an issue, and my delivery person was extremely friendly. I highly recommend this place! The only downside is that I wish they had longer hours because their offerings are just that good. "I had an excellent experience at Tessa Delicatessen the other night. The place is charming—bright, clean, and beautifully decorated. The staff were fantastic; I would honestly give them a five-star rating just based on how friendly the guy at the counter was. I ordered the Brussels, a muffuletta sandwich, and got a Cuban to go for my husband. The Brussels were delicious—they weren't fried, which is a nice twist (not that there's anything wrong with fried Brussels!), but they were tossed in a light dressing and topped with tasty cheese. The muffuletta, which was recommended to me, was very flavorful. I particularly loved the crusty bread and the olive spread. I didn't try the Cuban, but my husband said it was excellent and devoured it quickly. Thank you for a wonderful experience!"

"It is not outstanding but it is appreciated. That's definitely not a knock. It's not necessarily worth going across town just to get this, but the Kitchen and coffee combo is really good. I love anywhere I can get a breakfast burrito with my coffee without having to wait forever. I had two Rico Sauve burritos and coffee. Both breakfast burritos were very loaded, and i could definitely tell all the ingredients apart. It didn't feel like a fast food burrito. I had a vegetarian option but I couldn't tell the difference between it and the regular option. The coffee was good. I always just get drip with cream and sugar and it definitely did it's job. A little expensive but they partner with the Too Good to Go app to sell food at a lower cost to reduce waste. Super worth it at that price and value. You can't really go wrong with anything on their menu."

"My partner and i came here for brunch and ordered two items with sides. The first item came after about 40 minutes and the second and it's side 15 minutes later. We informed them that we were still waiting on another side of potatoes but never got it and left after another 20 minutes had passed. The food was good but service was very disorganized and we really would've liked to have gotten all of the food we paid for as well as being able to eat together."

"My main issue with this restaurant was the service. The prices were high for what was offered, and after ordering and paying at the counter, you are given the option to tip, with the lowest option being 18%. Additionally, after receiving your food, you are expected to clean your table and dispose of your own trash. This lack of service left a negative impression on me. To make matters worse, when I inquired about my missing drink, the lady at the counter insisted that I had already taken it. It was only after another employee pointed out our table that she apologized. With a bill totaling close to $109 for two people, including drinks, this experience was far from satisfactory."

"I visited the restaurant today and found it quite empty. The staff members on shift were chatting in the back and, despite acknowledging my presence while I waited, they continued their conversation. I even rang the service bell, but it took a few minutes before one of them finally came over to take my order. When I received my food, I was disappointed to find a large amount of cream cheese just slathered onto my bagel. Overall, it was not a satisfying experience."

"This place is awesome. I was initially pulled in by the promise of coffee since they are just a block and a half away from my house. It's super cute and lovely on the inside. The coffee is good, and I keep coming back every so often. Curious one day, I tried their breakfast sandwich. Honestly it's one of the best breakfast sandwiches that I personally have experienced. Soft, sweet bun. Crispy potato patty. Perfectly runny egg. Creamy avocado slices. And a slightly spicy, smoky sauce that mixes with that runny egg yolk and creates a flavorful mess that you sop up with the last little pieces of the bun. It comes with bacon pieces too, which are very tasty+crisp and enhance the flavor and texture, but I've had it without the bacon many a time and the visceral experience is the same. I have to say I haven't tried a lot of their other offerings aside from coffee, but the smoothies I've had are tasty, massive, and made fresh. The sandwich is just so good. I will try their other food at some point, but for now, I shall enjoy the sandwich. Service is friendly as well! Coffee is fresh and hot! Interior is well maintained! It is a pretty small seating area and I think the biggest table seats 4 but there's lots of 2 seat tables in there, it's very comfortable to hang out for a while and chat with a friend while you eat."

"This popular coffee shop and co-working space was bustling when we arrived at 10 AM on a Tuesday, with only a few seats available. It was packed with people working, making it the largest coffee shop I've ever been to, complete with a trendy industrial atmosphere. I tried the Honest John coffee, which was described as slightly sweet but still flavorfully coffee-like. It was decent, although I generally feel lukewarm about most coffee. The price was somewhat steep as well; I ended up paying around $6 for a 12 oz cup, plus a 20% tip. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but the cost was something to consider."
