"The atmosphere was very LA meets French. It was lovely that we got to sit on couches for our dinner party. But for me, a restaurant all comes down to the food. The French onion soup was not up to par for me. A classic French onion soup has the baguette crouton floating on the top of the soup, at the top of the crock, with a generous portion of cheese melted over the top of that. This is not what we got. There was a small amount of crouton at the bottom of the soup. You couldn't see the cheese because it too was sitting at the bottom of the soup. You had to dig around for it with the spoon. It's misleading because the pictures on Google showed the restaurant doing it the right way. I was disappointed. It tasted ok, but presentation was a mess. Also, portions are too small for how pricy it is. If portions are small at a restaurant, then the food had better be effing AMAZING. Otherwise you're getting ripped off. The creme brulee was also just ok. The custard was on the gritty/dry side. It should be soft, delicate, and creamy. Take more pride in your food quality, Le Petit Paris! It was a bit sloppy. You should hire someone to teach you to up the gourmet and stop cutting corners! Four stars for the atmosphere I guess."
