"I had asked for a quiet space for me and my husband. The hostess appeared to have some attitude and seated us in an area that she later filled with large families and screaming children. The hostess glared at me every time she brought filled a table next to us. It was awkward. Out server was amazing. The food was not worth the price. The crabs were good and some of the dishes were good. The chowder was runny. I understand the situation with the virus and that being the last weekend for the buffet for a few weeks so they were trying to get rid of what was left, but we felt ripped off after paying for two people with tip. Oh, and iced tea is an extra charge. I had asked for hot water with lemon. I was brought a pot of hot water that had residual coffee. Gross. Unsweetened tea was the logical option. Disappointed. Your next section requires me to select an option for what I would recommend this restaurant. There should be a not recommended option since I would not recommend Meadows to anyone."

"This was a spontaneous decision, as we struggled to find a brunch spot for a group of 6 on short notice. Let me tell you, this is the best place I've come across by chance! Each of us ordered something different, and we all raved about how delicious it was. Some menu items were sold out due to our late arrival, but that just gives us an excuse to return. I can't wait to try the pancakes next time!"

"We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. After attending a funeral at Calvary Cemetery, we decided to have lunch at an Irish pub to toast our cousin who was born in Ireland. Despite one of our group members being in a wheelchair, the owner, Bill, kindly opened up the back door to the banquet hall to accommodate us. The service and food were excellent, with the Shepherds Pie being a standout dish. The burgers were also delicious and generously sized. The hand-cut fries made in-house were a nice touch. We will definitely be back whenever we visit family in Queens, NY. The restaurant is kid-friendly with a nice kids menu, and while parking may be limited, the wheelchair accessibility was great thanks to the owner's hospitality."

"I was disappointed today because the person serving us today was handling raw cookie dough and then proceeded to serve us without changing gloves. While this may not seem like a big deal, it IS a food safety violation and I have the training in baking and pastry arts to know raw cookie dough especially with eggs in it can be very bad due to salmonella and other food borne illnesses which can be present in raw eggs and flour, especially for older folks, children, or people with weakened immune systems. Please please PLEASE change your gloves before serving ready to eat food! It looks unprofessional when you don't, and it can be a real danger to your customers.I know how hard you guys work, and having worked in a bakery myself I know how much work goes into selling baked goods. Please take this to heart and remind your employees to change their gloves before serving customers!! I'd leave a higher review if I could, because I've really liked Mary's Mountain Cookies, but this experience really shocked me. Thank you!!"

"We spent two days in Mount Pleasant enjoying the water park and dined at four different places. All of them were decent, but one stood out as the best! Doozie's Ice Cream was fantastic. The staff was incredibly sweet and friendly, and the other customers were welcoming too. Our ice creams were delicious, and the prices were unbeatable! If you're in the city, this is definitely a must-visit spot! Amazing ice cream, wonderful people, and great prices!"

"I really love the House of Henry. Their burgers are absolutely delicious, but if you prefer them well-done, be sure to specify that when you place your order, and be prepared for a bit of a wait. The only downside seems to be ensuring the burgers are cooked thoroughly. The chicken fingers, French fries, and fish are all quite tasty as well. Although it's an Irish restaurant, I haven't tried any Irish dishes yet, but I've heard they're really good. Some of my friends enjoyed the Reuben sandwich, while others weren't as keen on it, mainly because of the sauerkraut or its absence. Overall, I definitely recommend this restaurant, but keep in mind it might not be the best option if you're in a hurry. The burgers are definitely worth the wait!"

"I have to say, the waitresses are amazing. Very attentive and full of smiles and suggestions. The place has a very nice decor with incredible murals and two motorcycles that are made out of...well, you 'll have to go to find out for yourself. Indoor outdoor seating and a cool selection of beer including crafts IPAs. We ordered a veggie burger and a truffle burger. They were good. Veggie burger was a little a too soggy from the sauces and mayo. Could use less. The truffle burger was also good. Not much seasoning for those who may not their burger robust with flavor but it was tasty. Two items we ordered were forgotten but once mentioned were brought to our table immediately. Good exercise . I will definitely go back to order another burger for sure and check other items on menu."

"Great little buffet with fresh food and great service. Plenty on the salad bar, Catfish was tasty as well as the fried chicken. Rolls were soft and all of the veggies were delicious. Don't forget the dessert bar either with chocolate cake, cobblers, and ice cream. The choices of homemade gravy was a true plus as well. Seating was easy and the service bringing us refills and cleaning the table of dirty plates was outstanding. Right off the highway so easy access for us road travelers! Would highly recommend!"
