"The vibe at Haywire is always great for a fun meal with good friends. We asked to be seated away from the traffic pattern back to kitchen and restrooms and were kindly directed to a table closer to the bar. It was still noisy, but the slightly smaller table facilitated conversation. We enjoyed a double cut porkchop, a filet, chile brined chicken and ceviche as our entrees. All were tasty, and our server did a good job of guiding us through possibilities on the sides. Each of us enjoyed our starter cocktail, again with a helpful bit of guidance from our server. Always a good time."

"The restaurant has a comfortable location, a clean interior, and offers fast and friendly service. We dined with a party of 8, including 2 children, and everyone enjoyed their meals. The French fries were delicious, the chicken strips were beautifully crispy, the strawberry salmon salad was fresh and tasty, and the potato dishes were outstanding. The waffles were fluffy and the spices added a delicious touch. It's a great spot to eat and unwind, perfect for families. Plus, there were no complaints about the children. I highly recommend it."

"As several people mentioned in comments, we didn’t realize it was a hotel restaurant until we arrived. We needed a place that could accommodate 6 people on a Saturday night and were happy to see good ratings and a menu that would work for everyone. We should have read the comments and not just looked at the ratings. There were about 10 total people in the restaurant yet we waited about 15 minutes for our table to be prepared, even though we had a reservation. Service was incredibly slow although very kind. Food was not very good. Oysters were small and tasteless. French dip was over cooked. Fish tacos were bland. The gumbo and shrimp and grits were pretty good. Overall a very disappointing experience. I wouldn’t go back."

"While our server was friendly and made an effort to attend to the whole room, the overall experience was disappointing. I really can't recommend this place given the poor quality of the food for such a high price. I suggest the owners check out their competition, such as Margot Cafe in East Nashville or Cork and the Cow in South Nashville. These restaurants offer comparable prices but provide much better quality and freshness in their dishes."

"Stopped in for lunch with our family. Wings where really good. Great deal on happy hours. Oyster where excellent and also on happy hour. Cheeseburgers where just cheeseburgers. The service was some of the best we’ve had. Party of 6 and our waitress and awesome. Views from inside and outside of the restaurant are fantastic. Only thing we didn’t enjoy where the crab legs. "Good little pub with your standard American food. A couple of big screens behind the bar and one smaller screen tv in the dining area for sports games. The menu changes fairly frequently and gives off home cooked, hearty vibes. Wings, pizza, sandwiches and burgers are the usual here. They do brunch but the menu is more extensive on Sunday than Saturday. A fairly decent tap selection of about 6-7 beers on tap usually. A good place to drop in to sit at the bar for a quick bite or a drink with friends."

"We had a large group of 25 in the dining room, and despite being told that the AC was on, it was unbearably hot, forcing us to open the windows. It really felt like there was no one taking charge of the situation. The service was lacking, and the food was just average. We weren't informed that a 20% gratuity had already been included, so many of us ended up tipping again. Overall, the prices are quite high considering the quality of the food and service. The main issue seems to be the lack of management, as the restaurant is owned by investors. Lastly, I would advise against drinking the water; it tastes so bad that it feels unhealthy."
