"Good portion sizes. Nice selection of fresh fish.Visited for the first time on a Thursday evening around 6:40 pm. We were greeted and sat immediately. Our server Maria V was great!The fish tasted fresh but overall the food was bland (lacked seasoning). I appreciated the complimentary hot dinner rolls. The house salad was bland. They served some of thickest cut calamari I’ve ever had. It lacked seasoning/flavor and tasted a bit rubbery to me. It may be the worst I’ve ever had.I ordered the blackened salmon (5oz) with au gratin potatoes. The salmon was prepared the way I requested it. The potatoes had an interesting flavor. Not bad just different. I paid $16.18 for this meal.My cousin ordered Bronzini prepared Greek style pan broiled with olive oil, lemon and oregano. He also had a berry iced tea. They charge for refills on tea. It took an hour to get our entrees. The server did explain the whole fish took longer to prepare.The atmosphere was quiet with low lighting. Very relaxing. Many of the patrons are elderly Caucasian people."

"I’ve read the other reviews about this restaurant, and I’m not sure if everyone was just having an off day or what, but my husband is one of the pickiest eaters I know, and our two visits here while visiting my daughter were absolutely fantastic. I wish I could give more stars for the service, the atmosphere, and everything else. The food was hot, fresh, and incredibly delicious. Our server, Jessica, was both fun and efficient. The next day, we were helped by Caitlyn (I hope I spelled that correctly), who was so friendly and accommodating with my obsession for lemon slices in my tea. Home Grill is a must-visit whenever you're in Palestine. I’d give it 10 stars out of 5!"

"I absolutely loved this restaurant. They were able to accommodate all of my preferences. The menu was filled with exciting options, making it difficult to choose. I added jumbo lump crab to my baked potato and it was delicious. We ordered the pasta de Mare with cream sauce substitution and he ordered the crawfish etouffee. To start, we enjoyed the crab bisque and seafood gumbo. We loved it and will definitely be back again!"

"quiet place, great service, incredible food. Bread stuffed mushrooms were great. Penne alfredo with shrimp didn’t have a super creamy sauce and complimented the shrimp very well. The shrimp still had their tails, but a minor price to pay for such a delicious meal. The chocolate cake was very enjoyable. I usually don’t like fancy cakes because of the super light, silky middle layers, but this cake had more firm layers which was very enjoyable. We spent a lot because we had a gift card, but you could go here for under $30 a person without drinks appetizers. Dietary restrictions: they had a separate gluten free menu and were very accommodating with requests to modify items"

"We visited this restaurant for the first time today and absolutely loved it. We ordered the cowboy ribeyes and they were cooked perfectly - tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The steak and cobbler were both fantastic. Our overall experience was excellent and we will definitely be returning. We loved it! This was at the location in Amarillo."

"After reading about this place on “eat the boot” we (3 of us) drove an hour for Sunday funday lunch. We were warned to call ahead to order a deep dish because they take so long to cook. I called and scheduled our reservation for an hour later. Ordered a deep dish pizza and stuffed artichoke.We walk in ordered 3 blue moons with an orange and a Cesar salad and a house salad with grilled chicken and ranch. 20 minuets later. Still no pizza or beer and a Caesar salad arrives with ranch dressing. Finally the beer arrived but in Margarita goblet glasses, weird but ok. Here comes the stuffed artichoke (40 minuets) and it’s frozen in the middle. We sent it back. Still no chicken house salad but we have the ranch dressing.. smh.. pizza arrived.. was cooked but no longer hot it was just warm. No melting gooey cheese like I had hoped for from the reviews. But it was fine, average pizza.. owner walks over apologizes for the artichoke offers to give it to us for free and heat it up. We get it to go. Owner brings it back to us… we cancel the chicken salad. It still had not arrived..We were going to get desert but.. ya not now…We get the bill and the prices are higher then what is listed online. The beers were $8 a beer, and they charged us $2.25 extra for 3 orange slices. Online beer is listed at $4.50 not $8. A 14 inch cheese Pizza is listed as $30 in store it’s $34. The waitress (I guessing the kids working their are related to the owner) explain the prices online are for the Metairie location. That’s just bad business. I guess because they pour beer in a Margarita glass they think they can charge you double .. smh…In the end.. the food was average, at best. The service was terrible. You could tell the kids working their didn’t want to be there on a Sunday afternoon. Was not worth the drive from Baton Rouge to Mandeville for."

"I am a huge fan of Bubba Gump, particularly the Coconut Shrimp this outlet did a great job. We also shared a half pound of garlic shrimp to start it was really good. I love that they split the shrimp vertically down the middle, so it's really easy to peel. The Shrimper's Heaven (a seafood basket of different styles of shrimp) was great too. Drinks were a bit hit miss the non alcoholic ones were fine but they put way too much alcohol in my frozen lemonade so it tasted awful was melting really quickly. The waiter tried to upsell us to a membership, really put on the hard sell I hated that as we were just there for a good dinner. He was relentless, came by our table 4 times pushing membership, that's why 4 stars instead of 5."
