"I recently tried a new restaurant in Jefferson City, Hunan, for the second time. The first time, I had a good experience with friends, so I decided to order for my whole family for dinner. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this restaurant. The owner was dishonest as the total from GrubHub was $22 less than what I was charged at the end of my meal at Hunan. Even though we didn't order through GrubHub, we used it to check the menu and prices before calling the restaurant directly to place our order. When I arrived to pick up my food, the man who took my order over the phone presented me with a bill that was $77, much higher than expected. When I questioned him about the discrepancy, he rudely explained that the prices had gone up due to inflation, even though they were already higher than what was listed on their menu. This argument in front of other customers was embarrassing and in poor taste. Despite feeling taken advantage of, I paid and quickly left with my half-filled boxes of food. The portions were small and the quality was lacking, leaving my family still hungry after spending $77. We were extremely disappointed and will not be returning to Hunan. I plan to share my experience with others to prevent them from encountering the same issues with this dishonest business."
