"The service was outstanding! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, treating us like old friends rather than adhering to formalities about table assignments. The menu featured fresh homemade soups—three varieties, in fact—with plenty of delicious add-ons like popcorn for the beer cheese soup, which was a fun touch.
I particularly appreciated the salad bar, which boasted fresh fruit—definitely a bonus for me, as I'm not a fan of canned fruit. The greens were crisp and vibrant, a refreshing change from the wilted lettuce often found in other places. All the toppings were equally fresh, with no signs of wilting or dryness.
My husband ordered the walleye sandwich twice, he enjoyed it so much. He’s tried fish dishes at many different restaurants, but he rated this one as one of the best he’s ever had. As for me, I sampled both the Three Cheese Grilled Cheese Sandwich and the Tuna Melt, and I was very pleased with both. Each dish was beautifully presented, and the portion sizes were just right. Overall, we can't recommend this place enough!"
