"We decided to go for the Omakase, which is a set menu with the chef’s choice. It was a bit pricey, but absolutely worth it. Chef Lim was present, overseeing almost every dish that came out from both the sushi bar and the kitchen. The quality of the food was outstanding, especially the Pea Shoot Scallops, Sashimi Nigiri, and Lamb Chops. As a Bourbon purist, I was pleasantly surprised by her Old Fashioned made with Japanese whiskey; it was one of the best cocktails I've had recently. I would have ordered a second if I hadn’t been driving.
I also appreciated the interior design; it was elevated yet not over the top, and there was enough space between tables to avoid feeling cramped, which made it easy for the servers to navigate even when the dining room was full.
Lastly, I must highlight the exceptional service. While Chef Lim personally supervised the kitchen, his staff was equally impressive. We were greeted right away and seated promptly. Our server was quick and courteous, and we had not just one, but two managers check in on us during our meal, once while we were eating and again afterward. Overall, it was a top-notch experience—better than Aka, Azuma, and significantly better than Uchi. I truly hope they maintain this quality because I will definitely be returning when I'm in the area."
