"I remember their salads being served in large family-style bowls, filled with onions and a delicious dressing, but that wasn't the case anymore. The salads now came in individual bowls, looking like pre-packaged garden salads that had been sitting in the fridge for who knows how long. The type of lettuce used was different, and even the dressing seemed off. I was so disappointed that I pushed it aside and opted for the minestrone soup instead. The minestrone was quite good, though it could have used more noodles. My family ordered a variety of dishes—there were five of us in total: pizza, eggplant Parmesan, chicken Vesuvio, fettuccine Alfredo, and bowtie pasta in creamy vodka sauce. My husband, who also grew up in the area and always orders the chicken Vesuvio, said it tasted completely different this time and was over-salted. He found the chicken dry and didn’t enjoy it. Thankfully, my bowtie pasta still tasted familiar. However, I found myself downing water because the food was unusually salty—I couldn’t remember it being that way before. The prices have certainly increased, which we’ve all become accustomed to post-Covid, but for five people, our bill came to around $177 plus tip. Only two of us ordered alcohol; my mother-in-law and I each had a glass of rosé priced at $10 each. To our surprise, it arrived in a glass that was barely filled to a quarter. I was not pleased with that. We were also shocked by how empty the restaurant was for a Saturday night at 7 PM—it was nearly deserted. Such a stark contrast to what I remembered."

"Harry's Savoy Grill was an ideal restaurant for an anniversary date night. Even after many years of being around, the restaurant is lovely and well maintained. The front entrance is attractive and only has a couple of steps going in, which I thought were fine for me. I didn't realize that once I got inside and had to go to the tables, I would be going down more than a handful of steps. I told my husband I was having one of my better days and weeks, so I would go ahead and navigate the steps, but he shared with me where another entrance is to the restaurant. He was aware of these from visiting for past work functions. As my other reviews hone in on accessibility and comfort for elderly, those with limitations and illnesses, I'm happy to share this information with those visiting for the first time. There's parking in the front—which is where we happened to be, but there's also parking around the side and the back of the restaurant. You'll find those parking areas close to an entrance readily accessible for all with canes, walkers, wheelchair etc. Back to the experience inside, we were there on a Friday night and seated immediately because we had our reservation. Although it was busy, the seating tables have a nice amount of space between them you can enjoy your conversation and your dinner without feeling like you're going to bump into someone else or feel as if they overhear everything. The rolls are fresh baked and delicious. The only thing I wanted was more of it, but I certainly didn't need it. I ordered the New York strip steak, added on a lobster tail, had the carrots spiced with garam masala, land a crisp, fresh Caesar salad. My husband's order of ribeye with mushrooms was cooked to perfection. Also, their wine and beer list is extensive enough to find a wonderful pairing with your dinner. Lastly, I enjoyed the creme brulee for dessert along with some coffee. Overall, we had a fantastic night, great food and atmosphere. I know I will be back when that fireplace is on during the winter! "I will begin by saying the atmosphere is very beautiful and classic high end steakhouse. You walk in the doors to view of the expansive alcohol display. The light are low and the soulful r&b welcome you in as the friendly host walked us to our table. Weordered 2 cocktails; a Smokey mezcal for me and Four Roses Old Fashion for the wife. Both of which were delicious and met ourexpectations. Unfortunately that is where the positive ends. Our server took our drink order and we stopped him so I couldorder an appetizer and my wife a house salad. Another table was offered bread and butter but we must not look like bread lovers.Grateful they’re helping us watch the waistline. Our waiter needed to be stopped so I could order the tuna (deliciousappetizer) but walked away before my wife could order her salad. After sometime we finally flagged down our waiter so she couldorder a house salad, to which he replied ok and started to walk away. She stopped him before he walked all the way to tell himwhat dressing should would like. Not sure what would have come out but at least she got that out. But I understand as he wasreally busy hanging out at the bar and managing his 1 table; us. 35 minutes after arriving and many stare downs later hemeanders on over to see if we’d like dinner. Ummm why were we at a booth table at a steakhouse? Maybe for the atmosphere butno we let him know we were here for food. My wife ordered the boneless rib-eye with Brussels sprouts (whoops they’re out helets us know after a few minutes so Mac n cheese it is). I ordered the Ny strip with asparagus. When the food arrived, veryquickly by all standards, we put the service aside and looked forward to some delicious $50 steaks. Well I guess 50% isn’tbad. My steak, ordered med well was served med rare and looked like a backyard bbq not even using Costco steak. But had somepeppery flavor to it and decide not a $50 steak but you know this atmosphere must be work $30 so there’s that. My wife wh"
