"I don't usually write reviews, but I had to for this restaurant! I am a San Diego native, and I think their carne asada super fries were the best I've ever had. The ingredients were fresh, the carne was delicious, and the fries were well-seasoned and remained crispy, which is rare for super fries! Their Agua Frescas were also delicious. The cashier was great, with black hair and glasses, very friendly and made our visit very enjoyable. This place is definitely underrated and worth a visit!"

"I've eaten here quite a few times since the new owners purchased the place. It was pretty good before, it's awesome now.The customer service is out of this world; the owner has personally come to chat with me a few times, and he's a really personable and cool guy.I've had several of their tacos, but specifically this place crushes it on carnitas tacos for me (see first photo); the carnitas are so soft and juicy, and idk what their recipe is but it's the most pork-tasting carnitas I think I've had in a long time, maybe ever. I've also had chorizo and carne asada. I think the chorizo may have been a special that day or something because it's not on the menu every day, very good though. The tacos are pretty big too, I'd say maybe a little above average for the taquerias I've eaten at around SD and LA. Usually I get 2 to 4 tacos.Their salsas are all awesome. Their pickled onions are awesome. Their grilled onions are awesome. Every taco I have tried has been great, and some have been spectacular.Update: had the pastor and carne asada mini tacos yesterday, and both were ??? (see second photo); 5 for $10 taco Tuesday."

"This restaurant is an excellent spot for burgers, but their menu offers much more. I really enjoy the chips and salsa that pair perfectly with my burger. The onion rings are delicious, and the chili fries are outstanding. The service is quick, and the prices are quite reasonable. I highly recommend Fantastic Cafe for a tasty lunch and speedy service with freshly prepared food."

"The menu says for the vegetarian burrito that is only has rice, beans, cheese, sour cream, onions, cilantro, and salsa... it did NOT say lettuce and tomatoes, or I would have removed them from the burrito. Not making what someone paid for per your own advertisement is super freaking lame and it is one of the most irritating things on the bleeping planet....it is NOT HARD to simply make what the menu says you will be getting without adding things it clearly does not state it has in it, oh and btw if you want to spend 10 min picking almost half the meat out of your asada taco that is actually disgusting gristle (which you discovered by biting down on it gag! and fat pieces then this is the place for you....but if you don't want to spend time wondering which part seemed like a bigger waste, deciding what to be disappointed with for your order or picking the inedible parts out of aforementioned order then this is the joint for you."

"There's a reason I always get tacos when I'm in Los Angeles—every spot is fantastic, and Tacos Por Favor is no exception. These tacos are among the best I've ever tasted. The asada taco was incredibly flavorful, featuring perfectly charred steak. The carnitas taco was tender and savory, while the pastor taco was both juicy and slightly sweet. My personal favorite was the Quesabirria Tacos, which were filled with shredded beef and cheese, then lightly fried on the outside. I did wish they had provided some broth for dipping, as is my preference, but they were still delicious. They also served excellent verde and red salsas, along with an intensely spicy dark red sauce that really cut through the richness of the food. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and definitely some of the best tacos I've had!"

"First of all, the woman who seats people is not friendly, the menu cards are all mixed up, they sat my husband and I at a table in the middle and we were the first of 3 pairs of 2 people behind us, I told her The woman could move us to another table that is next to the wall and said no because there are a lot of people! Our surprise was that he seated a parent of 2 in the place I asked for, and to top it off he began to take the order from the teacher who arrived after us! Furthermore, when he put the cutlery almost on top of my hands, he put it without politeness, he didn't even ask for permission, what a horrible, very bad restaurant, even if they gave me the food, I wouldn't go back in there, what a bad experience! Today Tuesday, July 23 at 10:20 in the morning LOADED CAFE RESTAURANT DOES NOT SERVE WHAT A HORROR! THIS IS MY COMMENT IRMA ARANDA"

"Burger Depot has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants after just two visits. Have you ever experienced a song that perfectly matches your taste, making you want to sing along even if you’re hearing it for the first time? That’s how I feel about Burger Depot. The food is incredibly delicious; I particularly enjoyed their pozole soup, which is both flavorful and a true representation of the restaurant’s style—perfectly crafted for any meal. Each time I go, I'm greeted by the warm and attentive staff, who always show genuine appreciation. I could pop in for breakfast at any moment. Just like a favorite song that lifts my spirits, Burger Depot is my go-to restaurant."

"Friday morning with the two young barely speaking English guys, I had to come back twice for the wrong order, for a beef, bean and cheese burrito, and the 3rd time they gave my food, it looked like someone spit in my burrito very wet and disgusting on one side, he took forever with my debit card to charge me 9.61 for a empty burrito. A day later my debit card was trying to be used. But was declined. Be aware."

"If you want authentic Mexican food with authentic ingredients, you need to eat where Mexicans eat.... You have to try Tony's fresh Mexican food. The season is perfect! Your drinks are super refreshing and not too sweet as other places. You can try the ingredients: water sugar and leaves no preservatives. The shrimp, so Jumbo, freshly cook before you everything is perfectly seasoned and so is the meat, perfectly cook, the meat juicy and delicate make them all a fiesta in your mouth. Look at the picture of my plate."

"Eaten here a few times. Have gotten order wrong so I always check. Staff has mostly been ok but couple times not so friendly. Do like the the surf and turf. Tonight was the worst. Ordered the taco Tuesday 21.99 special. Asked for it by that name on phone. When I got there they tried to charge me 29.99. I told them they made a mistake and showed them the advertisement. they said sorry it only rings up at higher price there is nothing we can do about it. Asked asked for manager and servers name to call him tomorrow when he comes in. She laughed at me gave me the names. Then when I was sitting in car looking for another place to eat came out and smugly gave me a receipt with her name on it Lauryn was here name. I honestly didn't find the whole thing as funny and entertaining as she did. Avoid this place just not really customer experience orientated as you can see from all the poor reviews."

"Came in for the first time, based on other reviews because were stuck across the street at the truck stop. We entered around 4 pm and the restaurant was clean with 2 other people finishing their meal! It?s a walk u counter to order, grab your own drinks and then after there prepare your food fresh, they delivered our food HOT and delicious!! My gyro , with served with tzatziki sauce , tomatoes and thinly sliced red onion, was so good and my fries were well done , as requested!!!! His fajita plate with beans and rice, came with a choice of corn or flour tortillas, was delicious and fresh and generous portions!!!When we get back to this area, we will definitely come back again!!"

"Having followed Garduno’s on Instagram for a while now, this restaurant has been on my radar for quite some time. After seeing the progression of their vegan menu, I knew I had to make a visit. The vegan albóndigas were absolutely delicious, with a great meaty texture. The vegan tres leches cake was spongy with a delightful coconut flavor, and the icing was perfect. I highly recommend the bacon breakfast burrito, it was amazing with a fluffy "egg". The vegan chili cheese fries were incredible and tasted just like the regular version. Overall, this place is a hit and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to try vegan food for the first time, even non-vegans."

"This restaurant is my go-to place now!!! Their food is soooo good ?! I grew up in South Bay, so I've eaten at some good taco shops from National City to the Border, but we just moved on this side of town and I've been trying to find a GOOD taco shop. Anyways, I bought some rolled tacos, mixed burrito and some carne asada fries that I normally will not eat, for whatever reason. OMG!!! EVERYTHING WAS Ohhhhh sooooooooo GOOD!!!! I really liked the carne asada fries ?, I couldn't believe how GOOD they were. The mixed burrito was AWESOME! The rolled tacos were a HIT!!! I can't wait to taste more of their menu."

"I judge a Mexican restaurant based on its carne asada burrito first. Don Rios has an excellent one. So then I tried pollo asado. Again, delicious. Moved on to carnitas. Same. Breakfast burritos they have several different options all fantastic. Brought my girlfriend here and she loved the rolled tacos. Beefy, not tiny little skinny things. I live very close to Cotija’s and their food is greasy. I prefer to drive a couple miles more to eat Don Rios food. I would rate 5 stars except the dining area is not particularly inviting. Wouldn’t stop me from eating there but 5 stars is 5 stars and I can’t really give it the max because of that."

"0 stars. Ive bpught several burritos here thinking maybe they had an off day, their horrible food is consistent, every time its bad. But today was the worst, my burrito tasted like cleaning supplies, I took 2 bites and trashed it. Now I feel sick and my stomach is burning, and have a headache. Called and asked for a manager, was told manager wasn't there. Told the lady on the phone what happened and she didn't care one bit. Don't go here."

"Cheap and good. Friendly service and great prices. I asked the guy at the counter what his favorite was, and he told me it was a toss between the Colorado Burrito and Daniel's Burrito. So I got the Daniels and my son ordered the Colorado. The Daniels Burrito had a good taste, but was too dry. Every time I put it or bit in it stack of super dry rice and meat bits fell everywhere in place. It really needed some sauce or cheese or really *anything* to tie it together. I was very jealous of the Colorado Burrito my son, whom he said he was amazing. Overall, I was happy with Daniel's Taco shop, but if I go back, I won't order Daniel's Burrito."
