"This is definitely my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. I'm giving it 5 stars because I absolutely love their food, but today was a bit disappointing for two reasons. First, the queso dip was really thin and served cold. It was so watery that it never solidified, even when cooled down. Second, a lot of the staff appeared to be disengaged or uninterested. Despite these issues, the food was just as delicious as always, and the portion sizes were fantastic."

"My husband and I absolutely enjoy dining at this restaurant. The food is incredibly authentic, and the service is excellent. We really appreciate the inviting atmosphere as part of the dining experience. We've never had a bad visit here, and we often opt for one of the house specialties when we order. The margaritas are fantastic, and this is one of the rare Mexican restaurants that offer cheese dip, which I find to be a great addition for dipping chips in salsa!"

"Wanted to give this place a try, was hoping it wasn’t a chain restaurant and it would be authentic. Salsa was delicious. My daughter and I split the combo fajitas and hubby had the enchiladas. Everything was delicious. Only rating it 4 stars because it was over $50. Damn!"

"Great service! The chips were warmed served with salsa when seated in a comfortable round booth. My burrito was presented stuffed and wrapped to perfection, as well as, had a delicious cream sauce drizzled over the top that made me keep eating even when I was no longer hungry. I loved the way they decorated it with the flag and sauces to represent the cuisine. If I was going to nitpick Id say the cheese on very top of burrito couldve been a TAD more melted but it wasnt offensive or cold on interior of burrito and the taste was on point. The bathroom was extremely clean as well. Overall great experience and would go back."

"Karina is my favorite bartender at this restaurant; she provides friendly service and always engages in great conversations! The chef is fantastic, though I wish I knew his name. He prepared the most delicious tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwich I've ever had. There’s a wide variety of food choices available here. They host trivia nights on Tuesdays and have a special on tacos as well. I really enjoy the breakfast menu and often come here for brunch and dinner. If you're looking for a fun night out, be sure to check out the live bands on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I also love the owners, Tony and Suzie! The locals are wonderful too!"

"I've dined at Torero's three times so far. The first experience was quite good—both the service and food were impressive. The second visit was similar, but my most recent experience was disappointing. The service was lacking, and towards the end of my meal, I bit into something hard. When I examined it, I found a piece of ceramic in my food. I showed it to the server, but he merely told me to speak to management and didn’t take any action himself. Eventually, I managed to find a manager, but he seemed indifferent to the situation. When it came time to pay, he offered a free meal for my next visit, but there was no apology or genuine concern for what had occurred. I won't be returning here again."

"Prompt and friendly service, clean atmosphere. The ingredients were of good quality, portion size was good, and overall fair pricing. Served order very quickly, and checkout was efficient. This would be 5 stars, but have to honestly go 4 due to flavor. Chips were served warm and with salsa and refried bean dips. The salsa was a little too mild, but still tasty. Loved the bean dip! Horchata was decent enough, but wouldn't say crave worthy. Prickly Pear Mixed Drink was the clear winner at our table. Polla Con Crema Chipotle tasted pretty good, my preference is for more chipotle flavor. The white meat chicken was cooked perfectly and had a decent portion! The rice and beans were typical in flavor. Macho Carne Asada Burritos tried both and Macho was the clear winner! I definitely prefer carne to be more char broiled, thin cut, and highly seasoned. Can't wait to try their Fried Taco combination and their Quesabirria next time!"

"Grace was right—the portions here are huge! The food is genuinely tasty too. My wife enjoyed two Tacos al Pastor and a Taco al Carbon, while I had a chimichanga and a chili Relleno (poblano). Each meal came with rice, beans, salad, garnish, sour cream, and guacamole, all of which were delicious. I was pleasantly surprised because many similar places tend to be overly Americanized, more like a Chi-Chi’s or other "south of the border" spots. But this place delivers authentic flavors and great value. My wife, who is a native Mexican, was very pleased with the meal. Just a heads-up—Torero’s tends to be very busy, but we came on a Wednesday around 7:30 pm and had no problem getting in."

"Idk if they have new owners or what. But our food was bland, and our drinks tasted like margarita mix with no tequila. They do have a new menu and the staff does not have it memorized so they messed up our order and brought us nasty pizza and acted like we didn't know how to read when I told them it was wrong. I'm probably gonna find somewhere else to eat."

"Great rolled tacos! They have both corn and flour, which are called Sonoran. You can get bean and cheese Sonoran tacos. If you 've never had a bean and cheese rolled taco you will love them. The basics here like beans, rice, tortillas and salsa are what really earn 4-stars. If you need fancy ambiance you should probably look for another restaurant. As of November,dine in is available again."

"Few things with my experience today. I went to Del Taco this evening to get some quick dinner and spent $30+. The drive thru was busy and I was waiting 20-25 minutes for my food. I understand it was busy but because of this, a lot of my food was soggy/cold and I even missed a couple items I ordered. The service, I have mixed feelings about. There was a Caucasian male with a beard. He was wonderful. I was able to see him balance people in the front and orders on the headset. He apologized for the wait and said he was the only one working. However, I didn’t receive my receipt because I guess the printer was out. No problem. It was busy. After a bit, there was a couple people who joined him. One young woman, also Caucasian, to be more specific- has brown hair and a nose stud, was very rude. When she handed me my drink and I informed her that I had a a large, rolled her eyes and gave me a stank look. She didn’t talk to me at all. I understand it being busy, it can be stressful and overwhelming however I believe this woman should’ve handled her stress better. Now the food, despite the food being soggy/cold, I was very surprised with the birria and consomé. It’s obviously not authentic but it didn’t taste horribly. It was actually good. It has a different taste than birria and consomé you may be used to but it still tasted good."

"We ordered fajitas, one of which had a special request. Unfortunately, when they arrived, that request was not fulfilled. However, when we informed the staff, they promptly took the dish back and prepared a new one right away. The staff was very attentive and friendly throughout our visit. The fajitas were refreshing and included a lot of sweetness from ingredients like carrots and mushrooms, which you don't typically see on other plates. Although they were a bit oily, they were very tasty overall. My partner also enjoyed watching the football game on their large televisions."

"The menu offers a great variety of choices, and the main dishes were delicious! However, I would suggest steering clear of the margarita flight – ours was disappointing, as it felt like a mix of store-bought flavors with very little of each. Instead, I recommend the skinny margarita, which is just as good as the Mission Margarita in Riverside. Lastly, I highly advise making a reservation; we made ours and were seated right away, while those without reservations were informed of a 45-minute wait. Just a heads up, parking can be difficult, but you can find spots at nearby businesses in the evening when they’re closed."
