"The food was pretty good, per usual. The service on the other hand was sub par. Server was weeded from the very beginning, which was strange since there were open tables all throughout the bar area. Other servers seemed to be handling their tables fine from what we could tell. We hope to return but will request not to have that server should he be working. Dont take on more than you can handle and expect 20% gratuity if everything about our experience was wrong "

"This was a very unsatisfying meal. Here is I reserved the table more than a week in advance. But I could not reserve for a Thursday at and instead, had to reserve for I reserved online. The restaurant called me to confirm my reservation days before the meal. I confirmed the reservation then. I then received a confirmation request via email days before the meal. I confirmed the reservation via email. Then, I received another telephone call on the day of the meal asking me to confirm once again. I found the requirement for separate confirmations for my reservation was very intrusive and I reserved asking for seating in the dining room and NOT the bar area. When we arrived a party of people, about minutes before our scheduled reservation time, we were told that our table was not yet ready and were asked to wait in the bar area. We were asked if all of our party was over the age of to which I responded yes. After waiting for more than minutes after our expected reservation time, with nobody letting us know about our seating time, I asked when we could expect our table to be ready. I was then told that they would try and find us a place to sit. A table was the made ready in the Bar area and we were seated approximately minutes after our reservation The noise from the DJ and music was so loud that it made the dining experience terrible, as we were unable to speak with each other at our table, and the music was repetitive crappy dance pop, and there was nobody One of our group received a salad with a human hair in it. When this was pointed out, the server quickly removed the bowl and returned with a replacement, and our bill was credited with from our total.These problems ruined the experience for our group. Although, the food and service were very good, this will be the last time we will visit your establishment. We will NOT recommend BB to anyone.Sincerely,Alex"

"The food was enjoyable, but I need to sound the alarm! Their menu claims that the Philly Burger comes with two 5 oz patties, but when we ordered three, none of them had the two patties as advertised. Although the burger was still flavorful, I was quite disappointed by this misleading representation. I expected to receive what I paid for, rather than a diluted version."

"Had a reservation for Easter brunch at Beasts and Brews this morning. Went there and got seated as there weren’t that many people. 45 mins later, our order was still not on our table. When we asked the server for an ETA on our food, she goes ‘I have no idea. We normally have a full kitchen but only have 2 in there right now.’ Later on, after 5 mins, she approaches us and says ‘there is still one ticket ahead of you.’ Normally, I understand food staffing issues. But (1) we made reservations so they know people are coming, and (2) we could have been told how long the wait is for the food ahead of time. I’ve even had restaurants call me ahead of time (morning of) apologizing for canceling my lunch/dinner reservation later that day due to staffing issues. "The Waterfront restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, but the service was a bit slow. We started with a classic old fashioned cocktail which took a long time to arrive, but was well made and presented nicely. Instead of ordering entrees, we chose to share three appetizers. The Brie had good flavor but was not melted inside the filo, which was disappointing. The bread served with the appetizers was too crunchy and seemed to be the same for all dishes. The meatballs were overcooked and burnt on one side, indicating they may have been left in a crock pot all day without stirring. The poached lobster was served with the same crunchy bread and was accompanied by a jar of butter substance. Unfortunately, the lobster was salty, had a fishy taste, and was rubbery. It did not pair well with the bread and we would not recommend it. The Austin Hope wine was reasonably priced and we enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant. We plan to return to try other entrees and perhaps take a boat ride when the weather is warmer."

"I've been here a couple of times but this time it was a little disappointing. The braesola starter which I love really saved up on the mushrooms. And they were plain old mushrooms, not the fabulous wild mushrooms they had in the past. I was amazed. The pasta specifically was salty and dry. The fried calamari and prawns were very salty too. The quality of the food that goes into the meals is really top notch. In their defense, we went there right after the holiday weekend and maybe it was a little different. It won't stop us from coming back in the hope that it was an anomaly rather than the norm."

"Wonderful restaurant. Love the ambiance and decor, and love the diverse menu. Everything we ate was delicious. The meatloaf was one of the best I’ve had. "We received the most thoughtful and amazing Welcome Basket from “Celebrate our Town” and in it were coupons for Charlie’s Place so we made it a point to try it out. We were so happy we did! It’s not your typical quick/fast food, but homemade. It was great and the service was fantastic! It’s a homey and a very comfortable atmosphere. The sweetest and kindest lady took care of us and made sure we were happy with everything. Hard to find service like that anymore. Definitely recommend it!"

Firstly, our food was delivered but we had no utensils nor napkins to eat it with... took a few minutes to get that. Secondly, the 2 entrees we had (both fish) were terrible. "Walked in, barely anyone was in the restaurant and it unfortunately took 5 minutes before anyone noticed we were there. The food is good but the service is not the best. I feel sorry for those who work there and all they have to do with such little staff. But that experience eating there was definitely very disappointing.They got our order wrong by quite a bit. We had gotten a fish sandwich, mashed potatoes, a chicken sandwich and fries. They mixed up the fish sandwich and the mashed potato’s for fries and a chicken sandwich. Was disappointing to not get what we wanted."

"I'm so confused as to why this staff is so lazy. If someone orders something just give them what they ordered rather than trying to talk them out of it cause you're too lazy to make the food. I also think that they purposely give you the wrong sauce as they do it routinely. They never have anything prepared and send you curbside every time. A 5 minute experience turns into 25 quick. It's so pathetic. I wish I could give negative stars. Laughing and playing rather than just giving the food to the customer. Like bruh it's not that hard to not be this trash. Corporate need to come fire them all then the department of labor need to deny their unemployment cause they don't deserve a dime for that trash work ethic."

"The Kettle Black has an okay selection of wings, bar food and drinks. On my last visit there I had the mac and cheese and my partner had the pizza. The mac and cheese was a bit bland and watery. Drinks were good with a menu of specials. Our server was on time and attentive. Its not a great date location. Their double tables are nestled in the back with a great view of the bathrooms and the kitchen. The bar is certainly the best feature of the place. There's usually a decent crowd of people and a game on. Music was great."
