"There are three things we really enjoyed about our experience here. First, and this caught us off-guard, is that the intention is for the plates to be shared. We didn't know that walking in. The plates are more generous than at a typical tapas restaurant, which is perfect, because you really want to try as many things as possible from the menu. Second, everything was farm-to-table and there was lots of fresh veg. It was wonderful to have fresh veg be a prominent part of each dish. Third, thefood was delicious. Once you order, the chef curates the order of the dishes to give the best flavor sensation. If you are tiredof the same old, same old, try The Shallows for a delightful change of pace."
