"Went here for my birthday lunch and it was so awful . The fries were so stale . The shrimp and grits were like a salt overloaded soup . I had to ask for another drink because the sweet tea was so sour . I complained about the meal and the staff only took off one meal vs the several that my family didn’t even eat and hardly touched . Finding the staff to even get the check was a hassle . We sat there for a while and had to go find someone in the kitchen . Paid $100 for two kids meals untouched , a crab cake plate , 4 drinks (3 teas that were sour and a buffalo shrimp app that was super skimpy ."

"I've been a regular at Bogart's for years, ever since they were in their smaller location, and I've consistently received excellent service. Some of the staff have been there for years, making it feel like a family. Aside from the fantastic service, I absolutely love the food, which is my go-to comfort food. As a vegetarian, they are always accommodating with my dietary preferences. Overall, I’d rate the service as outstanding and the atmosphere as a perfect 5."

"Absolutely the BEST Mexican food I have ever had! Not even Mexican places in Texas can compare. Had the Shrimp Loco and was so good I didn't want to stop eating it, but got fill... husband had the Chori Pollo, and he'd said it was the best he has had as well. We will be back every time we come this way, if not just drive the hour for the food!!!"

"I love this place. Every time I go there I have the same thing, fried shrimp coleslaw, baked beans and hushpuppies. I've never been there when I could not get a seat right away. The servers are very nice and vrry attentive. They have daily specials like barbeque. The location is a little hard to finx but that is probably why I can always get a seat. They have a pretty big drink selection too. I think there is even a bar there."

"Great customer service. The place was a little cramped and I did not care for the TV that did not fit in such a small space. Even the tortillas and pitas were in the dining area for everyone to see. They have to get rid of the TV if they want to create a nicer ambiance. The food was not bad. If I come again I will try different items from the menu. I had clam chowder and a shrimp/potato taco. The clam chowder had a pillowy texture that put me off, but it had good flavor. The taco had way more potato than shrimp. I'm not sure if potato and shrimp make a good combo, but I think I prefer either shrimp or potato, but not together. For tacos of any kind, I would rather make my own at home. When I go out to eat, tacos are the last thing on my mind. I love clam chowder, but this one was not my favorite"

"Wonderful atmosphere. Parking was difficult but worth the little walk if you have to park down the street. This was my first time visiting this establishment. Two of my friends brought me for a birthday brunch. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised as soon as I walked in the front door. The unusual but beautiful and cozy interior makes for a comfortable dining experience. The food was excellent and appropriately priced. I ordered hungry like a wolf breakfast. The eggs were cooked perfectly to an over easy as I ordered. My two friends both ordered chicken sandwiches with fries. Every item on our table was delicious, portioned nicely, and prepared to perfection. I will definitely be a return customer. I highly recommend this quaint little cafe for your next dining experience. You won 't be disappointed."

"If I could give zero stars I would. We placed our order with Michelle and she was very rude. Then we had to wait a while for our food which wouldn't had been so bad if the experience was better in the beginning. We got home and started to eat and quickly discovered that the food had no flavor. It was very bland. The fries were dry and literally a four year old could have prepared a better meal! I called and spoke to Beni who claimed to be the Store Manager. He offered a 10% discount and a free drink on my next visit! That's sad and honestly why the hell would we come back?! We wasted almost $40 on garbage!!! Worst seafood place in Jacksonville hands down! I want a full refund and it would be nice if someone over these people would contact me."

"I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant for dinner, and I must say it was a fantastic experience! The price per person was quite reasonable, falling between $20 and $30. The food was absolutely delightful, earning a solid 5 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the fish and the pork belly burger – both dishes were exceptional! The service was equally impressive, also deserving a perfect 5 rating. The staff were attentive and friendly, enhancing the overall dining experience. Lastly, the atmosphere was just lovely. With a cozy and inviting vibe, it made for a perfect setting to enjoy a meal. Overall, I would rate the atmosphere a strong 5 as well. "Recently my family and I stopped by for dinner while we were visiting. My family lives in downtown Cartersville and had been to Modern Sports a couple weeks prior to our evening and said they enjoyed it. This particular evening was totally different than their prior experience. Jamie was our server and to say she gave us the worst service would even be an understatement. We sat for at least ten minutes before she even took our drink order, but that’s not the bad part. While we were eating our appetizers we ran out of drinks. Four out of 7 people didn’t have anything to drink at all. Our food came and she still did not give us refills. I took our cups up to the bar as she was filling cups and asked to have a refill and she yelled at me that she had other customers to take care of. I explained we had been sitting there for 45 minutes with no refill, our food was halfway eaten (which my daughter was eating hot wings with no drink), and she continued to yell at me. She kept on even as she was taking food orders from another table. As a former server myself, she neglected us and was way out of line. I will never step foot back into this place and I will warn everyone I know. Worst experience ever."

"Wife I live blocks from Shotz and have been there many times over the years always on football sunday. Since the remodel, it was so nice that we decided we wanted it to be our weekly go-to hang out. But every time we go in, we sit under the patio unbrella are ignored. The staff always seem to be having fun behind the bar but are slow to come out to the tables. Last time was the last time as we waited over 35min for a waitress, ordered, then waited another 35min for wings. Wings were good but at $29/20 wings, I didnt expect to get 19 wings. I think we'd be better off at Bulldog Pub. Sorry Shotz, we tried."

"Have been to Norby's numerous times. Was there last night 3/29/22, and it was the worst service we've had there. Arrived at opening, was seated and waited 10-15 minutes to order. I asked for Balsamic vinaigrette dressing for my salad, received a bottle of vinegar and a bottle of oil, never was told it would be that way. Waitress never returned to check on us until dinner arrived. I ordered a Filet and shrimp, wife had Salmon. Her food was hot, but mine was barely warm. My baked potato was not hot enough to melt the butter. The steak was the same. Our waitress did not return, (at least 40 minutes). She finally returned to ask if we were finished. Asked for a box, packed up and left. Definitely one of the worst meals I have ever had. Then on top of the high prices charged, they add on a 4.9 surcharge, (because of high food prices). I am very disappointed with the restaurant, and it's management. Not worth your time or your money to go there!"
