"We visited this restaurant for the first time today and the food was fantastic! I tried the newly added grilled salmon dish, which was perfectly cooked with a delicious charred exterior. The Ponzu sauce complemented the dish perfectly, adding a savory and slightly sweet flavor. We opted for green beans instead of a side salad and roasted garlic potatoes instead of rice, both of which were delicious. The potatoes stood out with their perfectly roasted texture and buttery Parmesan sauce. My wife enjoyed the grilled shrimp and avocado salad, which was also very tasty with hot grilled shrimp, fresh avocado slices, pico de gallo, and crushed mozzarella on a bed of mixed greens. The dining room and bar had a casual yet attractive atmosphere with exposed brick walls, although it was a bit loud due to the hard surfaces. The service was top-notch, with attentive but unobtrusive staff overseen by owner Jeff Webster. The prices were reasonable and we found the overall experience worth the trip to Montevallo Main Street Tavern. We will definitely be returning!"
