"What a treat. The shrimp ceviche was good. It had big chunks of tomatoes and tasted fresh. The chips were dusted with some deliciousness. The glazed pork belly was some of the best I’ve ever had. The edges were super crispy while the inside was liquid. It was the exact texture that you’re looking for in pork belly. The brussels sprouts were also a winner. I really like the fact that they were not overly sweet but we’re well seasoned. The Asian pear and brie pizza was a little bit unfortunate. I asked them to sub mozzarella for brie, and there was very little cheese on the pizza. The crust was thin and more like a tortilla, which would’ve been fine if the whole thing wasn’t so wet and soggy. Also, it’s the tiniest pizza you’ve ever seen for $14. We order to beverages as well, and our total came to $67. Don’t be surprised when you see a 4% service fee on your ticket. You can ask to have it removed, but I didn’t because it clearly states that it pays for health insurance for the employees. I asked the girl who brought our ticket, if they did, indeed provide her health insurance, to which she stated no. That sounded kind of dodgy, so I probably would not pay that extra 4% in the future. As for recommending this restaurant, the answer is yes. I would definitely go back for the short ribs, but pass on the pizza."

"During my first visit to Chelsea Market in the heart of New York City, I was thoroughly impressed. "I was invited to celebrate Mother's Day with family and friends at this restaurant. The food was good, but it wasn't really my type of place to eat at. Unfortunately, our waiter forgot things we ordered too often - three times, to be exact. The staff seemed welcoming despite the busy day with many customers. However, my main reason for deducting a star is that even though we had made reservations ahead of time, when part of our party was running late, they said they needed to seat us together. We were fine with waiting as our guest was just five minutes away in a cab. When they arrived, we were told our table wasn't ready yet. After waiting an extra 15 minutes, the party at our reserved table still hadn't left. We ended up waiting almost half an hour past our reservation time, which was disappointing. I believe that when you make reservations, your table should be ready. If it's not, the restaurant should apologize and try to make things right. To make matters worse, there was a very loud group drinking excessively and being disruptive, which made it difficult to enjoy our brunch."

"The set up of the restaurant is very crowded, in order to hang my coat on the back of my chair I had to ask a person at a table behind me to move his chair, It felt like sitting in an airplane. The waitress wasn't very helpful, the dishes were ok size but pricey l, unfortunately I didn't feel I got what I paid for. For example the eggplant wasn't roasted it was cooked, the schnitzel was too thick, so some parts weren't well fried. These dishes should be made perfectly, it's a restaurant, not friends inviting you over for lunch"

"What a great experience! We found this place pretty randomly but so glad we did. The service was good from the moment we walked in until we walked out the door. The food was great to look at and absolutely delicious. We had the taco style falafel plate and hummus sampler and would definitely have them again. The prices were very fair as well. Can't wait to go back."

"I decided to try this restaurant based on its positive reviews. When I arrived, it wasn’t very busy, yet the servers seemed quite distracted and unprofessional. It took us about 20 minutes just to place our order, and we had to carry our drinks to go. The coffee was average, and our Caesar salad was oversaturated with ranch dressing and lacked croutons. The blintzes were burnt, but they ended up being the best dish we ordered. Later on, one of the servers or managers apologized and mentioned that it was a busy holiday period, which we understood. However, I still wouldn’t recommend this place. Additionally, when I asked for a small cappuccino, the server insisted on giving me a large one and said I would only be charged for the small, but I still ended up being charged for the large cappuccino."

"I wasn't sure what to expect when I decided to try this restaurant based on the pictures I saw online. I thought it would be a good choice for a healthy breakfast, and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was fantastic, especially my dark roast coffee. They offered honey, as well as other sweeteners. The Yemenite Vine Breakfast I ordered was absolutely delicious and had a tasty hot salsa on top. The ambiance of the restaurant was also delightful."

"OK, so for my company, I do a ton of catering, and there have been a few instances where I have been in a bind and BITE (22nd st) has NEVER let me down. Every single person in my office completely loves all of their sandwiches and salads. Don’t get me wrong, I do not call them only when I’m in a bind, we use them regularly because they are on top of their stuff, and their employees and staff are SUPERB willing to help me with my orders and prompt delivery. I need to call out Ray particularly, he has been a blessing and a saint. I cannot sing his praises enough. This man needs a raise. He is invaluable. Thank you bite NYC for always having the freshest, best food and always being prompt and professional. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Oh, and their balsamic vinaigrette is the best you’ve ever tasted in your life."

"The staff are so friendly and attentive that I would give 5 stars just for the service. Our server was informative, knowledgeable and patient as we asked a lot of questions because we don’t understand some of the Mediterranean terms. Perhaps the restaurant may consider menu with pictures? There’s another staff who collects used plates and replaces with new ones and top up our glasses with water. He was very efficient!! I’m impressed! I have to say that it is rare to have Michelin star service in a neighbourhood restaurant. Ok, time to comment on the food which is simply amazing! The chicken (main course especially is probably the best tender juicy chicken with crispy skin in Manhattan! I think this is down to the Mediterranean oven that they use to bake. To start, we were served with freshly baked house focaccia with rosemary on top straight from the oven to our table. It’s warm, it’s soft inside , it’s heavenly! We had three starters : cerviche, crab shawarma and tortellini. Love them all! Lots of crab meat, tortellini were so yummy with beef(? inside. Cerviche with white fish is just refreshing. Main course as mentioned above, it was perfect! Our server recommended desert: Silan which is mouthwatering. Highly recommend to make reservation because this place is always packed."

"since it was first suggested by a dear friend this little gem has fast become a go-to favorite. the food is reasonably priced and the menu is delicious top to bottom. highly recommend the sea bass, the ceviche, the pear pizza, and the cauliflower but it’s hard to go wrong with anything on the menu. the staff is kind, endearing, and they’re never at a loss for a terrific suggestion. strongly suggest you bring friends and family (it doesn’t hurt to have an adorable baby with you either)"

"Small vegetarian restaurant with delicious Israeli food! I shared the hummus platter and got a falafel sandwich for myself. I definitely recommend splitting the hummus platter with a few people since its a lot of hummus for just 2. My favorite flavors were the tahini and mushroom. The falafel sandwich was super tasty and the fries on the side were very crispy. I also really liked their house hot sauce, which was a green herbs paste.For dessert, I got the vanilla rose flan which was plated nicely but unfortunately tasted a bit too artificially flavored.Overall a great spot if you're looking for a quick and filling meal in UWS!"

"Cute spot for tapas. There are multiple locations in LA; I remember when I was at USC, this was considered the place to go to for dates. Came here on Saturday night for a surprise engagement party, and the romantic vibes are still there. We had a reservation for 14 people but as more people than expected came, the staff was kind enough to pull more chairs (we were seated outside). Street parking available. The desserts are tasty the best cake ever was definitely something else with its mixture of sweet and savory. The chocolate cake was decadent and I actually preferred that more. There’s an extensive drinks menu and I had an espresso martini which did help keep me up. Single occupant restroom available indoors. The ambiance is moody and dark. They checked IDs at the door. It was a bit tight for a big group, so it is best for a more intimate dinner."

Whenever we try a new restaurant, we always have a mix of excitement and hesitation, but the lunch special here did not disappoint. The butternut squash soup was simple, light, and satisfying, and the half sandwich was surprisingly filling, bursting with a variety of wonderful flavors. We will absolutely be back. They also offer catering, and while we were there, we saw a loyal customer picking up trays for a party of 30! I also loved the wall of beautiful photos, paying homage to many Middle Eastern countries, including Israel, which adds to the overall harmonious and welcoming atmosphere of the place. Highly recommend!"

Instead of labneh cheese, tahini, and Israeli salad, I received a green salad with Caesar dressing. I wouldn't order from here again, as the food I received was not what I expected for the price."
