"I was super stoked to get some Hawaiian Food!! Feeling fat, I went with BBQ plate. Short rib, chicken thighs, and BBQ beef. Like a fat guy, I got some Musubi. Being in Vegas.... we get amazing Hawaiian food!! The short rib was terribly chewy.. fat was too tough to chomp through. The chicken was good, decent flavor. The BBQ beef was fatty, more than the typical fatty beef. The Mac salad was great, very solid. The musubi was good. Again Vegas has amazing Hawaiian food. I might just be spoiled."

"This is one of the best “fast food” chains offering Hawaiian BBQ on the mainland. There are quite a few in the area, but this is my favorite and is the only one I know that is actually rooted in Hawaii.The Kal Bi, BBQ chicken and Kalua pork plate lunches are my favorite. They also have lau lau, saimin, musubi (SPAM, Portuguese sausage and other variants), loco moco, and other island favorites along with actual Hawaiian canned drinks, which you normally can only find in Hawaii.It’s a little piece of Hawaii right here, conveniently located near the Union City BART station and the major intersection of Decoto Road and Alvarado-Niles Blvd. Vegetarian options: Not sure what’s you want to go to a BBQ place for vegetarian, but they do have some meatless options. Also Keto style carb free options. Parking: Huge parking lot and walking distance (just across the street) fro the Union City BART station."

"L&L is always hit and miss, we just moved back from Oahu to bay area and try every hawaiian place we can. L&L off island is usually gross and this wasn't too big of an exception. Service is fine but the laulau was freezer burned and watery, a little tough. Musubi's were not great, rice was hard, not the authentic hawaiian food we try to find."

"The vegetable ramen is SUPER YUMMY!! Got mine medium it definitely delivered some heat. The broth was very flavorful, will be getting it again soon. The spam musubi was very good too, seaweed had a good bite to it it all had good flavor. Everything I get here is always really yummy!!"

"Don't expect a fine dining experience. You won't get it. What you can expect is the best tasting Loco Moco you can find on the mainland. The beef patties are perfectly seasoned and browned. The brown gravy has a fantastic flavor without being salty. The rice is very well cooked and the perfect base to build your Loco Moco upon. I ordered the mini which had two beef patties covered in brown gravy with a perfectly cooked egg over easy on top, all of which sat on a bed of white rice. It came with a tiny plastic fork but it was a good way to enjoy small but flavor packed bites. It was glorious. Simply put, it was not diner fare but an elevated version of an island comfort dish that has been hella hard to find. But now I have found it within driving distance, I will be taking that trip to L&L whenever I get a craving."

"Ordered the 1. Spam egg with rice 2. Chicken katsu and teriyaki combo with rice. Their portion is huge so it’s def worth the money. I like that they kept the teriyaki sauce in a flask to made it warm. Overall yum food and will definitely go back. Also Sunday parking is free for the area."

"First time ordering from Moku and pleasantly surprised by the quantity of the food in the Chicken Combo, which included BBQ chicken and chicken katsu with rice, macaroni salad, and steamed vegetables. More than enough for a couple of meals. The BBQ chicken was flavorful with the slightly sweet glaze you'd expect. The chicken katsu had wonderful crunch on the breading and the inside was not dry, but nice and tender. I would suggest separating the katsu from the BBQ to preserve the crunch. The macaroni salad was also very good. The rice was a little dry and the steamed vegetables were bland. Overall, it's a great value and I'm glad I tried it. I'll order from them again."

"The Nutella cream malasadas were incredible! I had never tried malasadas before, but now I can't stop thinking about them! One savory dish that I did enjoy was the pork tacos. While we were waiting for the tofu tots, we devoured the fries, which were good. However, the spam slider was a bit too salty for my liking. I also wasn't a fan of the kimchi rice; it just didn't have the flavor I was expecting, especially since I usually make mine with spam. I might try adding furikake the next time I make it to see if it improves the taste. Of course, everyone has different tastes, and that's just my perspective. The staff were very friendly, and the service was excellent. The atmosphere of the place was definitely cool and inviting."

"Super delicious curry and boba! I've been a returning customer since early quarantine! They were pretty inconsistant with the curry at first, the mild Japanese curry being watery, the mild spice was not the greatest. But when I gave them another shot, they definitely fixed up all their problems and improved. Their boba was and still is really good, that has been consistant from the beginning. I have tried alot of their food on the menu over the years but I return back if I'm craving curry and boba. It's what I reccommend others to try (their okonomiyaki chicken katsu is also a recc). I think the only thing I personally found that was not my favorite was their poké, just because ordering it off of Uber Eats, its pretty limited on what can be on there. The poké tasted ok, I just think that other stuff from the menu is better.I mostly UberEats from this business rather than visit this place, but from what I remember this business is more of a take out place anyways. But I super reccommend this place if youre craving both curry and boba!"

"I really enjoy when Taco Bell is combined with a Kentucky Fried Chicken. During my visit, I tried some fried chicken and a bean burrito. The highlight of the experience was the incredibly adorable lady working the drive-thru—she was just as cute as a button. Overall, I'd rate the food a 4 and the service a 5."
