My husband ordered a flatbread that was quite small and excessively cheesy, while my shrimp scampi was overly salty, with certain bites being excessively so. This made me unusually thirsty for the rest of the evening, and I even had to get up for a glass of water in the middle of the night. Initially, I thought the meal was just prepared that way, but it felt more like someone had accidentally added too much salt, as I've never experienced such thirst after a meal before.
On a different night, the Commons Club might offer a better experience, but it felt like the staff was preoccupied with the upcoming rush of New Year's Eve guests, resulting in a service level that didn't match that of other diners."
