"The greeting staff were warm and friendly, and our waiter was excellent. The food though, is kind of meh, in my personal opinion. My party of 4 tried the dinner boxes, the spicy calamari roll, two appetizers, and the mocha cheesecake dessert. The appetizers were delicious, and the dessert was also pretty good. The calamari roll was ok, seemed a bit rice heavy and didn't have much life of flavor. Most of the sides and the veggie/shrimp tempura were a bit bland which was very disappointing. The main meat dish of the dinner boxes was delicious and full of flavor though. So all in all, not a bad place, but certainly not my favorite. I'm not experienced enough with Japanese culture and food to know the degree of Americanisation, but judging from the mostly white redneck attendees(lol), the blander pallette from other restaurants I've been to, and the mostly English menu, I'm guessing it's probably fairly Americanized."
