"The food is fantastic, but they seemed to have changed their take-out boxes cause the portions were tiny. Sorry for the photo quality, but the kids ate everything before I could snap a photo. I got a little mixed up and thought I was ordering from Pad Thai STL so I had asked for Shrimp in a Blanket. They don't carry it there so my bad.. but instead of correcting, the hostess said okay. When we got everything we got something labeled SFR thinking for Shrimp fried rice, but there no shrimp. Also very little rice for the honey duck or basil lamb to share. Thinking this was a fluke cause they are usually on it. I did call the hostess she did apologize for the confusion. Overall the food was stlll okay but thinking we will eat there next time instead of taking out."

"The appetizer chicken pokoros is basically roasted chicken stall, which tastes like Tandoori chicken. It was good, just a little dry. The chicken tiki masala was recommended by my waitress and it was absolutely delicious! Creamy, savory and seasoned well! Again, the chicken was kind of dry, but that also seems to be my experience with other Indian restaurants."

"The food was good, and the service was decent. I would rate it 4 out of 5 because I wasn't blown away, but I wasn't let down either. I do think they could improve on cleanliness when packing takeout, but I'm keeping things positive. I would consider returning, although only for lunch. I ordered from the regular menu, and they didn't even mention the lunch specials to me. I felt a bit shortchanged and ended up spending more than necessary. But I guess that's what happens during your first visit to a new place."

"This was the perfect way to celebrate my birthday!! We ordered a variety of dishes including malai kofta, biryani, chicken tikka masala, and butter chicken, and all of them were absolutely delicious! "I ordered a chicken curry with white rice, Tom Yum Kha Ga, and egg rolls. Unfortunately, the curry was extremely salty, loaded with sodium and MSG, likely to cover up the lack of freshness. I was thankful to be near a bathroom after my meal, as I experienced diarrhea while staying at my La Quinta room. The Tom Yum was also very salty, with an overwhelming amount of MSG. The only redeeming item was the egg rolls, which were decent when paired with the sweet Thai dipping sauce. Compared to Thai restaurants in LA, SF, and OC, this establishment falls short in freshness. Be cautious when dining here; eat carefully, or you might regret it!"

"We have found our new favorite Thai restaurant. The service was lovely friendly, attentive, informative, and sweet. They have such a great team there; every employee was working with us and it seemed seamless. The atmosphere was clean, inviting, andnon crowded. And the food was amazing perfect levels of spiciness for us, delicious flavors, everything perfectly cooked. Wegot the sampler plate for an appetizer: lots of different things to try on that plate and everything was amazing. For entrees,we ordered mango curry and pad see ew total winners. "The food was really good. My friend recommended this place tho also here on the same day for lunch and we went to dinner. Ambiente: The ambience was ok. Nothing to fancy. Location: Since its location directly opposite Caribe Royal Resort, it was very convenient to go there as we did in Caribe Royal. Eat: We ordered Tandoori Paneer Tikka it wasn't as great as I was told how good it was here. Methi Malai Paneer: It was amazing. Just to you know its very rich in fat as it was from heavy cream, but the taste was good. Malai Kofta: same engraving as Methi Malai wiper, but Koftas were actually very soft and very tasty. And in bread we ordered: Chilli Naan, garlic Naan and cheese naan"

"To be completely honest, I’ve only ever had Indian food maybe one time in my life. My wife and son wanted to go as they had heard such good things about the restaurant. I was blown away at how good all of the food was. I had mango curry goat. It was freaking amazing. The menu was extensive and we are going to go back once a week or once every two weeks for a family meal and are excited to try something new. All three of us had something different and the food was just absolutely amazing. Great service and delicious food. You have to give this place a try."

"This is the most affordable Thai food you’ll find, especially for delivery, and it’s of better quality than numerous other spots in the area (like those on Avenue, U-Village, Roosevelt, and Green Lake). It's not really suited for dine-in, if that's even an option, as the shop is tiny and often filled with DoorDash drivers waiting for orders. An elderly couple runs the place and works incredibly hard. Some menu items are straightforward or on the smaller side, but most are packed with flavor. Overall, it offers the best value for a quick lunch by a long shot!"

"Fabulous atmosphere, clean, open, elegant. Excellent service. Vegan items are labeled on the menu. The mint Chutney was the best I've ever had! They gave me extra to go because I loved it so much. "I have been patronizing the Jewel in the Crown for as long as I've lived in Newburyport going on 8 years now.I wanted to share a story that isn't about the quality of the food, which is exemplary, but more about the quality of their customer service.I recently placed an order for delivery that, for one reason or another, got very jumbled by DoorDash. I contacted the restaurant and spoke with the gentlemen who I believe owns the restaurant. He offered to call DoorDash to figure out what happened but also explained that it's not his delivery service so it is tough for him to take ownership over the mixup.I completely understood just wanted him to know that my food was delivered somewhere two towns away and the driver had been unresponsive.Not only did the owner call me right back and offer to get another order going, free of charge, which we greatly appreciated. But he also hand delivered it to my doorstep himself. Which was beyond unnecessary but so greatly appreciated.Tough to find this type of commitment to customer service in this day and age. Glad to see there are still a handful of business committed to going above and beyond.Thank you!!"

"The DINNER menu identifies vegan choices, but the lunch menu does not.. The woman who waited on me did not speak English well enough for me to order without difficulty, but I was able to get a vegan lunch. The lunch combos all have something in them that isn't vegan, so vegans can't order straight off that menu without substitutions. What I has was good, though. You can order from the dinner menu at lunch, but then you're paying dinner prices. I will do that next time. I suggested that they add one vegan lunch combo. If you go there and they haven't done that, you might make the same suggestion."
