"My wife’s best friend was visiting from Hawaii and we wanted to eat at Bubba Gump, but the wait it was unfortunately too long (Sunday, very crowded). We then stumbled across this Taqueria. We walked inside, asked about a wait time, they said 15 min. We decided to get a drink from the bar while we waited, and we got lucky that a couple people were leaving so we decided to sit at the bar and eat. Ariel, the bartender, helped us immediately and got us a couple beers before we could even sit down, he suggested a few mixed drinks and was so nice and very informative. I told him that I hadn’t had a mixed drink made so well in a long time since most of the time they’re way too sweet, but the one he made was in a small bowl and tasted so good and smooth, it could be dangerous lol. Our friend from Hawaii asked about flautas, Ariel said that they don’t make those there, but he said let me see what the chef can do. He came right back and said the chef would be glad to make them for her, and they were so freaking delicious. I told Ariel I would do this review because we were pleasantly surprised with the food, the service, and the ambiance. I’ve worked in the service industry, so when I see people actually do a good/great job, it doesn’t go unnoticed. Thanks ARIEL! Kudos to you!"
