"The food at this restaurant can be inconsistent, with some dishes being very good while others are just average. Some dishes had good components but didn't seem to work well together, giving the impression that the kitchen is trying too hard. The service was also lacking, as our waiter knew little about the dishes or the wine list, which was short and weak. Despite the restaurant being mostly empty at 7:15 on a Saturday night, the food took a long time to come out of the kitchen. This was my second and final visit to this restaurant, as there are too many other good dining options in Houston to waste my time here."

"I highly recommend Kahana Tiki Tu! After attending a birthday party there and having such a fantastic time, I decided to host my own birthday celebration at the same venue. Arlette and the entire team made the planning process seamless and were incredibly supportive—setting aside a section of the restaurant for my group of over 25 people. The restaurant is filled with vibrant decorations, and the private area we used for our event was just as delightful. During our celebration, Riley provided exceptional service, expertly managing everyone's orders and names. Everyone in our party loved the food, particularly the sushi, and the tiki drinks were a hit as well. Overall, we were thoroughly impressed by the attentive service, delectable food and drinks, and the lively atmosphere. I will definitely return, and several of my friends are also planning to visit. Thank you for a wonderful experience!"

"below expectations on food galbi (short rib is hard to chew, udon has a watery suppe, grilled yellowtail is too old and not with grillaroma. below expectation service is the woman cold . we ordered three dishes and she has not given in one. difficult to grasp any kind of attention. bad menu choices . on a piece plastic sheet menu that looks cheap, I asked what grilled dishes are. although the place is called a bar grill, but it has only three grilled dishes. a grilled fish, a grilled meat and another veg worth bad. two women of us eat three dishes for lunch that cost usd105. with the above quality and service"

"I've been visiting this location and the South Beach one for years, and both are solid neighborhood spots. My favorites are the shumai and the dragon rolls. However, I wish they weren't so picky about charging extra for a different sauce every time. I usually prefer teriyaki with my shumai, though I’m not a fan of theirs anyway!"

"Once in a while you stumble on something special and unexpected. My daughter and I went to Calabasas to try a sushi restaurant recommended by a friend. There was a two-hour waiting time so we decided to give up and go to Agoura Hills. Here are some sushi restaurants and we tried several. They are quite so-so, with medium sushi, which tends to be a bit cheesy. There was one, but we didn't disturb how it was in a mini-mall next to the shell station and don't look promising. After a recommendation for Sushi Raku from the same friend, we thought we would go. We couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. The sushi was from Nobu Grad! It melted everything in your mouth and was clearly created with love, pride and incredible skills and artistry. It was all delicious! A small, inconceivable restaurant, the staff is very friendly and the sushi fantastic! It's not cheap, but then if you're eating this class sushi, so nicely prepared... They wouldn't expect it to be. We can't wait to go back!"

"Went in here for my anniversary after having a poor experience at a previous restaurant, and honestly I should’ve come here first.The food was fresh beautifully presented, and Our server Xavier was amazing, his energy and enthusiasm really made our night, and made us feel comfortable and at peace. He even went as far as giving us a student discount!This is truly a place that has remembered what good service meant. Truly a small business that knows how to take care of their customers and is worth supporting. Will most definitely be coming back here.Also the mango sticky rice is absolutely delicious."

"Ramen was decent but overall a poor experience. We had a reservation which the server did not acknowledge. When we arrived there was one party of 3 who were already seated, so it was not crowded. It took the server a while with the waters, and we asked for straws which never came. The party who was seated after us were served first, and it took a bit of time to get our order, I think it was like 30 minutes. The ramen was average, certainly not worth the wait time. There was a peculiar unpleasant smell inside the restaurant which reminded me of a strong bathroom cleaner that they were using to try to mask another odor. The server never came around to refill our waters, and I had to go to the front counter to request our check. With the abundance of ramen restaurants in Orange County with better food and service, there are much better places to enjoy a bowl of ramen."

"Korean BBQ place that will have you thinking you’re a king. This place is amazing. Service is 2nd to none and atmosphere and food are amazing as well. Bring a friend or a few and get one of the big combo platters and just sit back and enjoy. Also this place cooks the food for you in front of you. Highly recommended!!"
