"Always an amazing time here! Every dish that comes out is always well-prepared, and they’re always adding to the menu—when we went this last time, they even had sushi!Dishes are marked for gluten-free which I appreciate, and they even have low-carb items! I was super excited about the shirataki noodles, but unfortunately they’re so popular they were already out of them (just means I’ll have to come back another day to try them! ?)Came with my husband, aunt and uncle and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. As tasty as dinner was, I think we had even more fun with dessert. I had the jasmine crème brûlée. I consider myself a crème brûlée connoisseur, and I was told this one is made in-house. The crust was perfectly done, and I thought the raspberry sauce beneath the dish was a nice, unexpected touch that lended a lovely tart-yet-sweet contrast to the creamy-but-light crème brûlée.My husband got the affogato; I stole a bite and we both agree it was absolutely delicious. Can’t wait to come back! (Sorry no pictures of our mains—we were hungry! ? will update with them next time)"

"We went out for date night on a Monday Evening and there were some active tables but they definitely weren't busy. The food was very, very good; but we were pretty disappointed that the service was slow and disoriented, especially when waiting for drinks. Our server kept coming to our table saying things like, "oh, that hasn't been brought over to you yet and "let me go try to find that for that for you We also requested a meal to-go to be brought out at the end of our meal so we could enjoy a night cap and bring home hot food to our guest, but instead all of our food was brought out at one time including the bagged up to-go item. This is not the first time that according to our server, "the kitchen just decided to make all of it at once The last time I dined here for lunch we received all our apps and entrees at the exact same time and the server apologized because they asked for it to be spaced out. This all definitely makes me a little nervous on what service could be expected on a busy, weekend night. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and the food really is delicious"

"There are 28 reviews marked as not recommended, many of which mention a decline in food quality. Unfortunately, my experience was both my first and my last, as I can't compare it to anything else besides a few small dishes I've tried from other menus. This meal ranks among the worst I've ever had. It was supposed to be a special treat for my husband's birthday, but it ended up being inedible. We ended up feeding the chicken to our dogs and throwing the rest away. I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager, who immediately took a defensive stance and explained that my criticisms were just part of how they prepare their food. So, just a heads up, you should expect the same dishes prepared in the same way."

"Not sure what the previous customers are speaking of but I’ve eaten at numerous 5 star Thai restaurants and I have to say this small out of the way restaurant has completely surpassed 90% of supposed fine dining restaurants with half the cost. The drunken noodles were absolutely amazing and the service was warm and attentive. 5 stars is not enough for this hidden gem !"

"Wandered in from out of town now). Made reservations through Open Table both times but wait staff didn't take my name to make sure they confirmed we were there. That said, the food was good and prices terrific. We went back the second time specifically for the lemongrassitini, but they couldn't accommodate us. Wait staff suggested the ginger cosmo and it was a good alternative. The soup with noodles was awesome, fish with lime pesto terrific. They really do a nice job with sauces and the happy hour deals can't be beat!"

"The food at this restaurant is amazing. There is a wide variety of options, with generous portion sizes, and we appreciated the numerous choices available to accommodate our dietary needs. The staff was friendly, accommodating our requests, especially regarding dietary restrictions, and were attentive throughout our meal. The prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was delightful. We will definitely return in the future."

"Smile Cafe should be everyone's default takeout Thai spot in Philly. I love them. They've got it all--fresh, flavorful ingredients, quick turnaround, and plenty of strong Thai curry seasonings. It's run by this really adorable Thai family (support small businesses! . Take out only and closed on Sundays (which is SO sad . Portion sizes are fantastic, and the prices are some of the best in center city as well. My menu tips are the drunken noodles or the massaman curry. One awesome thing for vegetarians is that they will do fried tofu for any of the entrees, instead of that gross soft tofu preparation that is typical for other Thai places. I always have leftovers, and at the $12 price point, that's really stunning. They won't ask unprompted, but can make anything to your desired spice level (I love hot food , and if you ask for really spicy food, it will pack a KICK! Do not sleep on the lunch specials--it's basically two mini appetizers plus any entree you want for ten bucks. Perfect for a quick to go meal during a lunch break. Since they are to go only, take the lunch back to work or if you've got a little extra time, go to rittenhouse square or the river and enjoy. For the combination of kindness, quality, quick service, price, and portion sizes, Smile Cafe is tops when it comes to take out Thai in Philly."

"Waste of time and money. First it was not busy at all. Althougg they kept saying how busy it was. Only 2 tables of 6-8 people 2 tables of 2. Only one older waitress trying her best to keep up. I feel bad how short staffed they were. Food was taking forever to come out from kitchen. I ordered sushi sashimi combo and a special roll. I should have stopped at the roll. The entre came. There was a bed of wilted lettuce. On top of which was a seaweed salad. Not the best seaweed salad I ever had. Then I started eating the sushi. Slimey bland are the first things that come to mind. No flavor with the tuna or the salmon. The Wasabi was hard and broke off into pieces. The Ginger was dry as well. The sashimi salmon had red marks on it. The pieces of sushi sashimi were all mis proportion sizes not uniform. There was no real care in preparation. The California roll even tasted funny. I would not recommend going here until they have it together again. No ambiance. This place was good several years ago. I think new owners."

"I hadn't had pho in a while, and with the chilly weather lately, I decided to stop by. I opted for the combo pho, which included brisket and meatballs. Since I had skipped breakfast, I was looking for something hearty but not overly filling. The broth of the combo pho was savory and had a nice spiciness to it, complemented by a tangy hint of lime — a solid 5 out of 5. The sauces provided, one sweet and savory and the other spicy, paired wonderfully with the brisket; another 5 out of 5. However, I was a bit disappointed by the amount of meat, which was less than I had anticipated, though the other toppings helped balance it out somewhat — I’d give that a 4 out of 5. Overall, my experience at Anh's was a fantastic 5 out of 5, especially considering the quick service. If you get the chance, definitely stop by for lunch!"

"I have had a great time every time I have visited Aura Thai Kitchen. I usually don't write reviews, but this restaurant definitely deserves more love. The space is small, but it has a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The woman at the front is always friendly, whether I am picking up an order or dining in. It feels like being part of a family when I am there. When dining in, the food is served promptly and the portion sizes are generous. My top choice is the chicken pad thai, it is simply the best."

"Drunken noodles is my favorite Thai dish, and I've never had it any better than at this restaurant. The owner is so friendly she could talk your ear off! She's very welcoming and friendly with us customers, remembering us each time we return. There's one waitress that truly is always on her feet there, she is glad to help you with any inquiries you have. I will always be returning to this restaurant for authentic thai food, it's the best I've ever had. Service: Dine in"

"If you’re getting take out this is probably a solid move but if you are planning on dining in with family or friends — PASS! I’ve been to this establishment four separate times and would rate Thai Spice a two star establishment (due to the service). I love Thai cuisine and overall the food is decent but the servers and atmosphere are always far below average. Unhappy servers who have mastered making you feel like a burden the moment you walk into the restaurant. Server watched videos on her phone (OUT LOUD) the entire hour I waited and ate dinner. Dateline television on as loud as can be (which as the only person in the restaurant I asked to turn to down they said no). Very unwelcoming environment. My last and final visit I ordered apps and paid walked out before even ordering entres. Again, food is solid atmosphere not so much. "My first time here tonight and I absolutely will be going back in the future! I ordered the stuffed eggplant and it was utterly fantastic!! A side of white rice that worked perfectly with the sauce. Also had the chicken spring rolls which were also amazing. I was completely satisfied when we left and that was actually my first and only meal of the day. So very good!!"

"This is an excellent spot for hot, delicious, and expertly prepared food! The owner is very involved and interacts with the customers, which adds a personal touch to the experience. The customer service is outstanding, and the place is tidy and well-organized. If you're in search of authentic Thai cuisine, I highly recommend this restaurant. It's a true gem in the local business scene."

"We stopped by for a late dinner and ordered fried rice. There was a mix-up with the spiciness levels (mine was hot, hers was mild), so when she received the spicy rice, it didn't work out for her. However, the waitress noticed she was eating slowly and asked twice about the issue. We mentioned it was too spicy, and she promptly brought more water. The cook then came out and offered to remake the dish. The new plate that came out was absolutely amazing. The staff were quick to address any need we had. The bathroom may be a bit scary so it's better to hold it. Overall, a great experience. Can a vegan person find a good meal at this restaurant? I didn't even know there were good vegan meals anywhere!"

"Circled the block multiple times before rewarded by incredible karma. Thankfully, a tiny space opened up that truly tested my parallel parking skill. Tucked away in a sketchy block of Clement, Pagan is a little hole-in-the-wall Burmese eatery, the name not to be confused with paganism but named after an ancient city of Burma. There were no untoward signs of hipster pretentiousness; just a homey setting staffed by a couple of well-mannered, respectful kids. Don 't expect any ambiance for there was none. The décor unsurprisingly was kitschy and minimalistic. Grab a table in Pagan and savor some of the finest in Burmese home-style cooking that have been oft neglected and under-appreciated. I am by no means a connoisseur of Burmese cuisine although not entirely a novice. So instead of starting with their iconic Tea Leaf Salad or Rainbow Salad, which I had before, we jumped right into their well-known curries and noodle dishes. Burmese Curry Prawns $15.95) was the BOMB! I can 't believe the dish I had today might even surpass Indian and Thai curries in terms of distinctiveness and deep complex flavors. It had just the right level of heat. The prawns were mid-sized, crunchy to the bite and cooked under precise timing. What then was their secret? I would say the obvious....the curry powder of course! Then the traditional blend of tomatoes, fresh chilies, garlic, onions, lemongrass and cilantro enhanced the tastes besides emanating an enticing aroma. In this sense, I love it better than Thai, which can be overwhelmingly sweet, lemon grassy and basil-y. 5/5) In an earlier review of an Indian restaurant, I mentioned it was rare to come across Egg Curry. I was delighted to find Burmese Style Egg Curry $11.50) in Pagan 's menu. Whoever thought of this recipe must be sheer genius as this was delicious, inexpensive and simple to make. The egg whites were lightly fried to blister and form an attractive golden crust. The most notable difference with Prawn Curry was the judicious use of tamarind. The hint of sourness boosted my appetite. I also particularly love okra and green beans that added some variety, fiber and crunch. The sourness from the tomato sauce and tamarind set off the second BOMB for the evening! 5/5) Burmese love their noodles. 'Kaw Soi Dok ' $11.00) is as Burmese as 'Lo Mein ' is Chinese. Truth be told, think 'kaw soi dok ' as you would Chinese egg noodles that were tossed in a nutty and zesty sauce and served with an array of different contrasting condiments or toppings like fried crispy shallots, fried garlic chips and chopped cucumber pieces. Unlike Chinese stir-fries, Burmese noodles were tossed at room temp and so no wok hay expected! 3/5) Another simple form of noodles, See Jyet Kaukswer Garlic Noodles) $11.50) consisted of freshly cooked hot noodles tossed in garlic oil with a gentle touch of salt and pepper. Garlic lovers take note! The noodles were lip-smackingly garlicky and savory and you could add a protein for more substance and texture. Request to add roast duck with your noodles! I 'm sure they would oblige. 3/5) It is always good to see a restaurant adding a new and lesser-known flavor to the cuisines of hard hitters like Chinese, Japanese and Thai in Inner Richmond. As with any sporting event, I always love to root for the underdog!"

"Excellent Excellent Excellent!Elevated Thai Cuisine in Glen Park!I can't believe we live so close and are just know getting to know One Waan. We've been there five times in the last couple of months. We have managed to just scratch the surface of their menu (about 10 different items) and EVERYTHING has been OUT OF THIS WORLD! The presentation of the food is spectacular nothing short of a beautiful painting with every dish offered. Every item we have tried were absolute flavor bombs. Further elevating the experience was the service, Alex explained the preparation, ingredients and techniques involved in some of his dishes and Nelson our waitperson was very gracious and knowledgeable about the dishes we enjoyed. Do yourselves a favor and put One Waan on your dinning list soon. You will be very happy you did! Truly a great restaurant!!!!Vegetarian options: The Veggie soup is a beautiful bowl of awesomeness."
