"I've visited this restaurant a few times, and the service has consistently been outstanding! The food is both affordable and delicious. On my first visit, the waiter offered us a Special Fall Roll that wasn't on the menu. I'm not sure what was in it, but it was incredibly tasty and flavorful—possibly even pumpkin, and I usually don't enjoy pumpkin! When I returned for my second visit, I inquired about the roll, but they informed me that it's only made during certain seasons and is up to the chef's discretion. I wish more restaurants would take this approach. I rate this place 10/10 every single time I've dined there!"

"We initially wanted to go to Benihana, but it was fully booked, so we looked for an alternative. The food was nearly on par with Benihana, but at a lower price. The main difference was the quality of the show; the chef was quite serious and didn’t interact with the diners, which was a bit disappointing since the interactive element is usually the fun part of teppanyaki. Additionally, the restaurant felt hot and stuffy due to poor ventilation. Overall, it was still a decent dining experience."

"This is my go-to sushi restaurant. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, with great specials and a friendly staff. The atmosphere is also fantastic. On Mondays, it can get busy due to their $1 nigiri night where you can get a generous piece of fish on rice for only a dollar. They also offer excellent cooked dishes like beef and chicken teriyaki, as well as my personal favorite, their Udon noodle soup. If you love good soup and noodles, you'll love this place as much as I do."

"What a joke of a place. The place is in a terrible location, your view is literally the parking lot. When they seated us there was old smashed up Sushi and food on the ground. I had to ask the waitress to please get someone to clean it up. That was the first sign of unsanitary and disgusting management. The paint is peeling right near the table you are dining at, another sign of what the food preparation might look like. Ordered wine bottle and the glasses had lipstick. When you received the food, there was a hair on the food embedded deep. We sent it back. The waitress literally came back and told us that nobody on there staff has long hair which is indication of very poor customer service. We asked for the bill and they made sure to charge us for the food that we sent back and didn’t touch. I asked to speak to the manager and the manager was to much of a coward to talk to me. This place will not last and we will spread the word detracting people from this please."

"This place is fantastic! It's located in an area with plenty of parking, and it's wheelchair accessible. They also offer delivery. I visited during the week in the evening, and the service was quick and friendly. The food was absolutely excellent, and the prices were reasonable. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, making it ideal for business meetings or hanging out with friends. It's also a great spot for a romantic dinner. If you're not a sushi lover, they have Chinese food available as well, but I can't comment on that since I haven't tried it yet. I highly recommend this restaurant!"

"I went here after work to get pad Thai and I ordered it to go. When I ordered it online, it told me how long it would take, which was about 30 minutes, but it never notified me when it was ready. By the time I got there, the restaurant was suspiciously empty (especially around 5 o'clock in the afternoon). The staff was extremely nice and the transaction of me picking up my to-go item was very easy. When I got home and tried this pad Thai, I was very disappointed. There was no flavor at all and the chicken that I had included in my pad Thai had a suspicious smell. Because of all those things I threw it out since I didn't want to risk it. I'm not saying this place is bad. Maybe there are other things that are a lot better but on my perspective on the pad Thai, just don't get it, it's really not worth it."

"I gave an extra star for the service which was nice but food itself is really just 1 or 2 stars. This place has an expansive menu, as it has both Thai and Japanese food to offer. However it doesn't quite do either very well. Portions are small and cost is expensive. One of the things we ordered was udon and it was $10 for literally soup and plain udon. No garnish or anything added. It definitely caters to people who don't care about authenticity or don't know what Asian food really tastes like. Sadly I will not be returning."

"I 've been here dozens of times. I 've even received a free poki bowl for being a loyal customer. I recently was served the WORST poki bowl . To be frank, it was disgusting. My coworker saw me attempt to eat my poki bowl and pointed out my absolute disgust and disdain. I do not like to waste food but this poki bowl went straight in the trash. Turns out, another coworker had a similar experience the same week and didn 't finish their poki bowl either.I was served what can only be described as poki bowl soup. The staff person who made my bowl put so much sauce that my bowl was soupy (rice soaked with so much excess sauce that even the rice couldn 't soak it up). It tasted TERRIBLE and was essentially inedible unless I wanted to slurp/drink my meal.Staff need to know to give minimal sauce unless instructed to provide more. My coworker told me they asked for light sauce but also got way too much sauce. Truly disappointing."

"Meals were very good. Our group ordered different menu items, and there were no complaints. The entrees, including salad entrees, were fresh, seasoned nicely, the sushi was excellent, the environment allowed for conversation around the table. Music was in the background and did not override conversations. Our wait staff were very knowledgeable, accommodating, and pleasant. Variety of menu choices provided something for just about anyone's taste. Hot/Spicy additions are available if you want it. Overall, and pleasant, enjoyable and full-filling culinary experience."

"Shogun has been a family favorite in my family for over 10 years if it was 8 to 10 years ago I would have given them for five stars. We have frequented this location for birthdays and they would have the staff come out and sing Happy Birthday and then provide a free dessert .....in the PAST. This time they offered me orange wedges and a cherry as my birthday dessert they didn't sing or celebrate AND they forgot to bring the dessert (not only mine but dessert being ordered from the menu from others) and brought out the check... When they came back they just brought one piece of mochi and disregarded the orders from other guests in my party ?????"

"If I could give zero stars I would. I am shocked that this has any high reviews at all. To start, the wait staff could care less about customer service. There were multiple people waiting to collect take out orders, tables having to flag them down for a check, and the guys next to me had to ask twice if he could get a menu to place a takeout order. I waited 50 minutes for my order which was short an entire roll when I got home. The food was NOT good. My daughter loves her California rolls and couldn't even eat it. I tried as well and found it inedible. The teriyaki chicken was dry and tough. The bulgogi was bland. Skip this place and try somewhere else....unless you like being disappointed and throwing away a decent amount of money."

"I normally order takeout from omakase, their food is pretty good! This time I sat inside and noticed it's a bit dark. It gives a nice relaxing and romantic atmosphere but it's just a bit darker than I like but it's nice.We had beef bulgogi and Korean short ribs. The onion soup is absolutely delicious and comes with it. The white rice was well made, not too mushy or too hard. The Korean short ribs are always good, they give you a big helping of onions as well which helps bring some nice crunch and acidity. Sometimes the short ribs lack a bit in flavor but that's a rare occurrence. I like to drip the sauces that come out of the short ribs into my rice and helps bring that flavor in so well. With the plates they serve food on though I unfortunately can't do that. I did also have a few bone pieces now and then but that's the first time that's happened. The bulgogi tasted good, it's also served on a lot of onions. Over all the food was great.Seating wise there was enough space which I was happy about because I'm plus size but I sat comfortably.Prices were fine, everything is normally under 25. Everything is also very clean. Service was great as well."

"The food was lacking in salt and very bland. There was no yum yum sauce only mustard or ginger which was disappointing. chef tried to use butter as an oil replacement and burnt a lot of the food. He tried to serve me burnt scallops and I refused and asked him to redo it. Other diners even told him the scallops were so badly burnt they could be used as hockey pucks. I also ordered chicken and barely got about 6-8 small pieces so meat portion was bad. Mind you this was dinner portions and I paid $26 for it. He tried to skimp on it so everyone at the table got a little and we were all not happy. Won’t be dining here again. I’m sure there’s better hibachi places around."
