"This is my regular pizza/sub/fast dinner delivery place. I'll admit some weeks we order a last 3 times. The delivery guy must consider us the best delivery customers! kidding...maybe though. I typically get pizza, subs, fried chicken nugs/fries, and the spaghetti and meatballs dinner and I usually ask for extra sauce because the marinara sauce is so good. I'm usually picky about sauce and meatballs even more but I found that the pasta sauce was very tasty as well as the meatballs,,it comes with salad and the portion is big. It it comes piping hot and stays hot even if I dont open it right away because of the aluminum tin and tight cover. The pizza is equally delicious as well as the huge sixteen inch grinders. They have online ordering and average speed delivery..friendly drivers always. My small gripes would be that sometimes they fries need to be cooked more, I have gotten some not cooked through and the flavor is much better cooked a lil more versus light and soft and a large fry is 5 dollars and some change but the container is usually half full and for simple plain french fries for 5 bucks and a big order, I think they could fill the fries up. The second gripe is that when ordering a pizza online, they do not have the option to add tomato to a pizza as a topping. It's one of my faves and I just don't get it lately. I know I can call and order it if I want but I simply hate it..I like to order and pay online and not have to fight to hear and sometimes understand someone taking order on phone..when online it is in black and white something is not missed when they write order down. Besides that like I said this is my regular spot, I don't have to ask where we getting pizza or subs, it's where we go. IF we are in Holyoke, I go to Holyoke Pizza, they have similar deliciousness."

"Always looking to try something new (or at least new to me), I decided to check out Alice’s Restaurant today. I tend to prefer supporting local non-corporate businesses, so this funky little “Mom ’n’ Pop’s” diner was just what I needed. The shop is a veritable museum of old Coca Cola memorabilia, the walls covered in old Coke marketing goodies — which is funny when you see the sign on the front window announcing “We Proudly Serve… Pepsi”. I read the backstory once on their website, but it seems that website is now defunct. To the best of my recollection, they used to serve Coke (or planned to), but the local Coke distributor wouldn’t give them the time of day, whereas the Pepsi distributor was more than happy to give them the respect they deserve… and thus a Coke memorabilia shop serving Pepsi. Right on!The clientele I observed were mostly retirees and appeared to be a “first name basis” of local loyals. I ordered the Chicken Sandwich served with fries and added a cup of today’s soup, Bean Bacon. The soup was very clearly homemade with nice chewy bites of bacon. The sandwich was fair enough fare; the fries were from frozen but good. I’ll try their breakfast next time.As for the service, the young woman who served me was really nice, smiling, attentive, accommodating and made my first visit to this restaurant a welcoming experience. Five stars; wish more wait staff were like her!"
