"Honestly, I'm so bummed. I had been wanting to try this place for a LONG time. Finally got around to going. We had a reservation for 630pm, they took us right away. Wasn't very busy at all when we got there (although it did fill up towards the end of themeal). I started with a beer off the tap, it was delicious and they did have a decent beer selection. We started with the cheeseplate appetizer. Out of the 4 or 5 cheeses maybe 1 (cheddar) was really good, the rest were just ok, as one person said beforethe bread etc that accompanied the cheese was scarce...but again, appetizer. For dinner we both ordered the lobster shrimpbutter risotto. The risotto was mush and the lobster seemed like it was cooked twice over. Small lobster to begin withespecially for almost 40 dollars. The flavor was decent of the risotto but it was OVERPOWERED with fennel. So much so that mywife had to stop eating it halfway through because all she could taste was the licorice. We ordered the peach bread pudding fordessert. Ice cream was good, the bread pudding was too bread like, not enough milk or moisture. Seemed more pound cakey thanbread pudding. And there wasn't a peach or peach flavor to be found. The bill came and it was pricey! We don't normally look atthe cost of things...if we're going out, we're going out...but this was enough to jump off the page for what we ate. I wanted tocome have a pour of bourbon, but to be honest I was so taken back by the pure disappointment dish after dish, that I wouldn'thave enjoyed it so I just said nvm. We won't be back and I'm deeply disappointed by that."

"The name West End Wine Bar Pub doesn't do much justice to the restaurant. In my opinion, this is an amazing business-casual farm-to-table restaurant and bar! This is great choice for dinner. There is a pub downstairs. Excellent salads, appetizers, entrees, and sandwiches. Everything on the menu is fresh. Salad options are especially well done and are as fresh as it gets. Local farm sourced meats and vegetables are featured and are frequently available. The atmosphere is like a relaxed fine-dining restaurant. Service has been outstanding! Very popular place. The venue is a nicely repurposed beautiful former 1915 inn. They do take reservations, which during typical dinner times, fill up quickly, so those are a must. Once in a while we luck out if just stopping by to check on the spot availability. However we usually find immediate seating if we make reservations avoiding typical dinner times. There is also a very nice new enclosed outdoor seating area. Parking is free and available, although can be a bit tight at their busy times. Handicapped accessibility is very good; multiple handicapped parking spaces are close. There is a wheelchair lift from the parking lot to the restaurant. The menu is artfully designed and executed. The kitchen is highly competent and hardworking, providing orders within reasonable waits. Everything on the menu is excellent. Portions tend to be large. An appetizer and a salad can make a whole meal. The short ribs entree is not to be missed. The pork chops are also a favorite entree. The full bar is very capable. The bar area is a very good seating option if tables aren't available. They offer creatively-done cocktails. Very good bourbon list, quite a number of favorites are included. Wine list is carefully curated and is well rounded. It's well worth a visit, and no kidding it will be a happy experience! We have been there many times and it's always been very good. It's tucked away on the west side of town, but it's not to be missed. Highly recommended!"

"We haven't been to this restaurant and pass by all the time so we decided to try it out. We've been to the Express side for quick breakfast snacks before though. It's located in the Downtown Disney area of Disneyland Resort. This table service restaurant serves up American food including breakfast, sandwiches, salads, soups, pastas, entrees, desserts, fresh baked pastries. Southwestern Steak Salad romaine, avocado, corn, tomatoes, panela cheese, chipotle ranch, topped with tortilla strips and warm medium grilled skirt steak most of the salad was really good, except the steak. The steak was super overcooked and dry. Fettuccine Chicken Brady Cream chicken breast, sun dried tomato, mushrooms, peas, garlic, brandy cream sauce and parmesean this pasta dish was actually really good! Except for the chicken. They should have grilled the chicken and put it on top. They way they had it cooked in the pasta made for a weird consistency, it was too soft. The sauce is really good! It tasted like it had a seafood base. Side Toast they are known for their breads and I needed a bit of carbs with my salad so I got a side of bread. It was a bit disappointing. It was grilled on the outside, but came out cold. The inside had a weird texture to it too. Silverback Single Origin Rwanda Coffee OMG! This was really good! Very smooth and rich flavors! Definitely get this! I have my eye on the Pecan Stuffed French Toast for next time. I'll probably stay away from the lunch options with meats. :P We received great service from Sandra! Parking can be a pain if you are not here for the parks. You'd have to park at the Disney lots or hotels at a steep price. Recommended for the coffee!"
