"SDC has been one of my top favorite diners for a few years now. Every friend, family member and occasional date I've brought here loved it. Today was actually my first time back since last year (I couldn't deal with their covid precautions. Good to see they loosened up). I got my usual fried egg toast and potatoes, and the quality and taste haven't changed. The Demerara oat latte I tried out was good. Service was friendly but a little slow especially when there were only 3 patrons in here including myself. My only complaints are that I wish they would go back to using real dishware instead of wasteful paper and plastic. Why be sustainable with literally everything else but the plates? Also, we're in the gentrified part of Logan Square; the locked door isn't necessary."

"I was taken to Luzzi by my uncle Richard Perrotty during his visit to New Jersey. Everything was outstanding! I’m from East Tennessee and really wish there was a restaurant like Luzzi in my area. I had the Saltimbocca, which was amazing, and the Crème Brûlée for dessert, which was also fantastic. Thank you, Dan, for the wonderful hospitality!"
