"I always like to support the businesses in my neighborhood, but I will not be going back to this deli. I’ve bought breakfast sandwiches from here a few times while I’m on the go with no issues. One morning, while I was around 6-7 months pregnant, I decided to order two breakfast sandwiches, which totaled to about $7-$8. When I bit into the sandwich it tasted like cigarettes, I immediately threw up. I thought it was just that my nose was sensitive from the pregnancy-no that wasn’t the case. My boyfriend had to throw out his sandwich as well because his too smelled and tasted like cigarettes. It’s very unfortunate that these businesses in our neighborhoods don’t care about the well being of their customers. I did call Hollis Deli and told them what happen and they advise me to come back and get something else for the same value. Unfortunately, I haven’t returned and don’t plan to return. It’s not about the money-it’s about my health."
