"There’s NO ART?! There’s some artwork outside the hotel and in the lobby, and they mention some in the elevator (though the video was so slow that I’d have to take a long ride just to see it, good thing I already know about Pysanky eggs). The bar is located on the same floor as the check-in area, where there is some art on display. However, if you walk up the stairs to the actual ART BAR, you’re greeted with a nice view—though whether you consider flat St. Louis a great view is up for debate, as there’s really no notable art there. As a local artist, it feels like a missed opportunity to truly support the local community, and I find it quite disappointing. The reservation we made seemed pointless, as no one acknowledged our arrival. We were told to sit anywhere, but it was so cold outside that the heaters should have been on already. After about 10 minutes, the novelty wore off, and we squeezed around a tiny table with four drinks and one cold Mediterranean platter that only included two rollups for our group of four."
