"Beware of ordering through Doordash, the prices are double the amount. I ordered 2 regular pies and got 2 personal pies for the price of $23 each. Once I received the order I was so confused, I called the restaurant and all they said is sorry but that’s how DoorDash is and they can’t do nothing about it. I called DoorDash and they tell me the restaurant has to fix it but nothing was resolved. Really disappointed as my family and I order here from the all time. It was just my first and last through DoorDash now since the prices are different."

"I truly value the freshness and beautiful presentation of the fruits and vegetables at Aj's Fine Foods. My checkout experiences have been wonderful, especially with the friendly and efficient lady who works early mornings. However, the butchers and seafood counter have been disappointing. Aj’s tends to be more expensive than other stores, though the quality is usually better. Still, when I see filet priced at $35 per pound and Petrale sole at $20, I expect better service, more information, and options instead of rushed interactions with staff. This isn’t a one-time issue—I’ve encountered similar problems repeatedly in the meat and fish sections. The flower and gift department is also quite pricey. While I love the produce and some of the checkout staff, I feel disrespected when dealing with the meat and seafood teams. When I ask about fish freshness or meat cuts, the treatment is often poor. I’m not asking for lengthy explanations, just basic respect. It’s truly disappointing."

"Left dissapointed a little upset.Entered loved the place. I wanted to have a great experience bring friends family back because I loved the indoor climate with the glass roof, etc. Giving you the outdoor feel. Unfortunately the service from the waitress/bottle girl manager were not pleasant.1. Despite the place being pretty empty, the waitress didn 't come to our table for over 10 minutes when we 1st arrived. We flagged down someone else to ask who would be our waitress.2. Food could 've been better more feeling. My friend ordered lemon pepper wings and those were the most 'blank ', seemingly lemon pepper I 've ever seen. She ate one, and sent them back. The fries were good. I had breakfast tacos (3) and they were okay but mostly just the flavor of cheese. I was still hungry after 3, like I never ate.We asked for the manager she came not ready to listen to a customer but ready to defend her employee which we figured. The waitress would dissappear for a long time we would see her talking to people behind the bar or at the hostess stand. She didn 't write down our order one plate came out completely wrong for my vegan friend. And we had to wait for her food to be remade. They didn 't want to accept my friends bank card thr manager made up some dumb excuse for the waitress.I could keep going about this place but to summarize, horrible customer service the food ain 't nothing you 'd crave or ever desire. Maybe the fries.Parking: There is a paid lot right across the street. It was $20 when we went on a Sunday. There is street parking further down the street near the more residential area."

"at $3.45 for a cheese disc it is quite expensive, also for this neighboring and nyc in general $3 at garlic and $2.75 at most others.) but that said it is a high quality classic NYC style cheese disc and definitiw from the $1-2 pizza discs in the city that use cheaper sauces and cheese. the teig is perfect in its cuddly but crispy balance when they are crust in pizza, they know what I mean. the tomato sauce is more on the salty side, can hardly taste the zitze of sweet, so note them if they prefer sweeter sauces. good amount of cheese on the disc. I'd be hungry and didn't want to go on. I must say, however, in comparison to garlic pizza on 2nd ave or lunettas on 20th street, this sauce lacks complexity of taste. all of this is based on the classic cheese slice- not compare the topping slices, because the definitiv is more variable and is subject to any kind of preferences and combinations."

"Still a 5 star pizza! Hands down on of the best in NJ. However, the price of $10 for a SIDE salad (one person salad) with just lettuce and 2 cherry tomatoes is ridiculous. Gave us paper plates to eat a salad with oil vinegar? Was not busy for dinner on Mother's Day....maybe because the staff, especially the owner, isn't too friendly.I will definitely come back only for the pizza."

"Excellent food and service. Jose was so welcoming and helpful. Wanted schnitzels so we decided to try this biergarten. Bier Bacon was so good. The slaw was delicious and enhanced the bacon... I don't usually like slaw but I would definitely love to have more of their slaw. Jaeger Schnitzel was perfect, it was crispy even after the mushroom demi glaze was spread on top. Spaetzle was really good, most times it's just a mushy mass but these were individual pieces Dee’s Kassler Ripchen Smoked Pork Chop with potato Pancake and red cabbage. The pork chop was really good. The red cabbage was delicious loved it! Hubby loved the potato pancakes but I thought they were more like Hash brown then the usual potato pancake... Will have to go back to try other items! I'm just sad the one closer to us near the Meadowlands does not have a German menu..."

"I want everyone to see this! My family is sick. We called Toningt to get a solution or at least our money back. We were denied general management information. My family always bought pizza from the villages. Never $60 stomach pain. No pizza should ever be so greedy! I will call the food and agriculture department, this is crazy. We are trying to buy from our local restaurants and support our community, but this is ridiculous. Today, the layer is very rude and disrespectful. Everyone has bad days, but that takes the cake."

"Me and my friend met up here tonight on a whim after the restaurant we planned to go to got too loud. Next time, we’ll be going here first, I think. First off, the pizza tasted great, and while I just ordered pepperoni because I didn’t want to waste too much time, there were a lot of tasty-sounding menu options for custom toppings, sauces, and the such- more than I’ve seen at really any other pizza place outside of overpriced specialty joints in Chicago. Whatever the reason, there’s a lot I want to try to keep me coming back.The best part, though, was the service. The people working the counter went out of their ways for us- we sat down outside to wait for our pizza, and they brought it out for us instead of leaving it for when we came back in. The dude even went back in and grabbed us napkins. I know this doesn’t sound too huge but in a carry-out place like this one it shows that the staff cares, and I wish the best for them and this establishment."

We genuinely enjoy supporting kosher restaurants and had made the trip with our two small children. We had hoped to return, but sadly, we won’t be making that trip again."

"10/19/21 back, finally! Had a turkey burger, it was good but took a long time to come out. Disco fries were good but a small portion. Friendly service. 2/16/20 back again... Had the small pasta w/pesto chicken. It was good but way too much sauce and I was not expecting a 'creamy pesto '. (Pic Service still the best! 3/21/19 Back for more! Turkey burger with all the veggies, really good. Fries are good too. Had a pistachio shake ok but not real pistachio ice cream! Just a flavor. 5 stars for consistency (been here 4 times in 2019 . Very friendly staff. 3/31/18 pesto panini really good. Been here several times this NHL season, usually get a burger, wanted to mix it up. The food is still good and the staff is still friendly. I 've been here several times, consistent good service. Prices are ok... The pizzas are good and have nice options. A good selection of draft beer and free refills on soft drinks. The family style pasta is good and a very large portion! Note to self: split the pasta next time... Or take most of it home again ; I 'll be back, next NHL season. Thanks to the friendly staff."

"I walked in to get 2 slices of pizza and when I walked up to the counter the man looked at me and said “one of each” very rude, and when i addressed it all the staff said it was just a joke. I proceeded to say, why didn’t you ask the other women that walked in because they are thinner? They replied with it was just a joke. No apology. Won’t be going back even though I have frequented there, very unprofessional and mean."
