"I was on a mission for chicken wings, so we stopped at Diggers. The atmosphere was friendly, our server Christian’s srvice was on the point, and made the proposal to get the marinated Steak medals on our Caesar Salad. We ordered a dozen, and the cook allowed us to get half drums in the hot, and the other half flats in medium. They were delicious! The Caesar Salad was huge and plunged with the Steak medallions that were generous. We also had a side of fries that were served wonderfully crispy. Loves this place in downtown Riverhead!"

"We had a reservation this past Saturday April 1 at 8pm. We were greeted by the doorman which was honestly very cool. He was very welcoming and made a great start to the evening. We were seated promptly on the left side of the entertainment stage. The music was exceptional not to loud not to quiet. We started with east/west coast oysters, the pork belly, and the crab cake. The apps were very good and fresh. My wife had the scallops, friends had the veal chop and porter house. I had the 28 day dry age ribeye. This steak was honestly the best steak I’ve ever had, yes even better than prime and proper. It literally melted in my mouth. For sides we got the fried potatoes and Brussels. Desert was their iconic brick sundae. Everything was so good. We will be back"

"We love London Chop and make a point to visit a couple times each year. The band was great and our waiter was very knowledgeable, especially about wine. Our only complaint was the Cesar salad which our waiter promised us was indeed a Cesar salad but looked nothing and tasted nothing like a Cesar salad. Since when does Cesar salad have spinach (no romaine lettuce at all), radish, and bread crumbs….even the dressing was off. The salad was good, just not the Cesar salad we had been looking forward to."

"During my second visit, the waitress was awful. She was incredibly slow, taking 15 minutes just to ask if we wanted drinks after seating us and bringing chips and salsa. When she took our drink and food orders, she took another 15 minutes to return, only to ask if we wanted drinks again. When she finally brought our tacos and two sides of rice and beans, she charged us full price for the tacos despite it being Taco Tuesday. We were supposed to be charged $1.00 each for the tacos, but she claimed that the special didn't start until 4pm, which was not stated anywhere in the restaurant. I ended up paying an extra $12.00 for tacos and a few more dollars for an additional order of rice and beans that I didn't ask for. After giving Oscars two chances since the pandemic, I have decided not to go back. The experience was not worth my time and money."

"I had not been to this restaurant in seven years. I was hoping for a more affordable experience. The food and service were excellent. However, when I received my final bill, a 20% gratuity had already been included by the management. That was not cool. I was planning to leave a 20% tip anyway, but I would have liked the option to decide on the amount myself. There was no mention of an automatic gratuity anywhere in the restaurant. Not cool!"

"I absolutely love Uncle Oogie's, whether I'm ordering for delivery or picking up my food. The portions are generous and the food is delicious. The staff members who answer the phone are always friendly and ensure that you receive exactly what you ordered. The delivery drivers are exceptional as well. They are very considerate, holding the door for you if you have a lot to carry or waiting until you're settled before leaving. These are just a few of the reasons I adore Uncle Oogie's."

"The restaurant experience was excellent, featuring delicious food and attentive service. Unfortunately, the hotel aspect did not meet my expectations. Upon my arrival, I found the toilet seat was broken, and the mattress was in terrible condition—worn out and in urgent need of replacement. Additionally, I ran out of hot water while shaving and, even after the water heated up again, my shower quickly turned cold, leaving me to rinse off in ice-cold water. I certainly will not be staying at the hotel again, but I would gladly return to the bar and restaurant. If I were to rate the overall establishment on a scale of 1 to 10, I would give it a 4-star rating. My two-day stay was less than enjoyable. Rooms: 2, Service: 3, Location: 4. Hotel highlights: Quiet."

"Went to this new restaurant because my mom loved their fish sandwich! The place was huge, not overly crowded and very clean. We got seated immediately and our waitress, Kayla G., was very attentive and so friendly. The food was delicious! We got fried zucchini to start, it was very lightly breaded and could have been cooked a little longer but tasted great. My moms fish sandwich was huge, and enough for a meal the next day. I had pasta marina it was excellent I loved the sauce and will definitely be going back again with my family! Highly recommend this place and the price was right!"

"Tony's Pizza Pasta, no doubt this is an awesome place. They have gone down hill since covid, lack of staff, lack of customers. Especially since they removed the salad bar and the rolls before dinner. I really loved this place but it's not what it use to be, the food doesn't seem as great anymore, it's just not the same. I would recommend a better place to eat at than Tony's. I suggests to Tony's do something to get business back, do a promotion or an event to get more people. It's also out of date, the inside could use a big remodel. Otherwise, I really love the place."

"Laurie, Krystal (C K)? And Linda. These ladies made our date night really nice. This is the kinda place you want to hear about, the owners who care and support their community. I would have loved to have loved the food. Disclaimer: GI issues here so If we eat out and I don't get sick after, I know it's a safe, good place for me. If I get sick a bit after, could of been a food choice I made. If I get sick right after, like within 5 10 minutes? There's something amiss. I did indeed get an upset stomach on the way home. As to the food? Only the scallops were worth eating in my opinion. Those seemed fresh and cooked well. It felt like everything else was left under warming lamps too long or simply overcooked. The shrimp, flounder tough and chewy. Frozen and thawed? I dunno. The deviled crab? Tasted like stove top stuffing and zero crab. They were polite enough to remove it from the bill. Oysters are a bit new for us but they seemed so small. Tasted okay. Just small. Like a penny. Hush puppies are hush puppies, as long as you don't burn them right? They did bring 3 baskets of those on the house. I'm sorry to hear they are closing at the end of December. Perhaps why the food is the way it is at this point? I could have seen this place in it's hay day. It exudes warmth and love as crazy as that sounds. We liked it there. We liked the people. We wish everyone well on their next endeavors. "As I opened the first window, a woman from a nearby table came over and aggressively closed it without saying a word. I assumed she wanted to minimize the noise from the bar, so I moved to another window and checked with that table. They agreed to let me open it, but the same woman got up and shut it again, this time giving me an unpleasant glare. When I reopened it, I explained that the guests at the table were fine with it. At this point, it was evident that this woman was either heavily intoxicated or under the influence of something because she was struggling to stand and her eyes were barely open. To my shock, she revealed that she was the owner and forbade me from opening the windows. I told her that if she wouldn't turn on the air conditioning or allow the windows to be opened, I wouldn’t be paying my bill, as her behavior was completely unprofessional. Her husband, who also claimed to be an owner, approached and said he’d cover my bill, but his demeanor was far from polite. I later learned he also instructed the bartender not to serve us anymore, which was absurd since we had only had two drinks and were clearly not impaired. The bartender, sympathetic to our situation, chose to disregard the owner's directive. When I asked for my bill at the end of the night, hoping to leave a good tip for the bartender, I was shocked to see a charge of $150. I called the bartender over and reminded him that the owner had promised to cover my bill. He explained that although he took some drinks off, I was still expected to pay. Unfortunately, by that time, the owners had left, leaving no one to address the issue. Not wanting to create a scene or give the bartender a hard time, I paid it, but I will never return. This is not the kind of establishment I can support. They don’t care about their customers and exhibit classless, rude behavior."

"After giving us only the options of 7:15 or 7:45, not 7:30 as we wanted. When we arrived for our 7:15 reservation they kept us waiting half an hour. Although they were apologetic, they did not offer us a free after dinner coffee or any other sort of tangible apology. That kind of service does not encourage a return visit. The rest of the service was good, other than the waiter trying to suggest the Dom Perignon Champagne for $350 (he didn't tell us the price)."

"This was my first time stopping by Pita Delight. They had so many options including vegan platters and sandwiches. I decided to try their everyday $5 dollar burger meal. I was amazed. Tasted like my dad had just cooked it off the grill included fries and a drink something you don't see these days. The restaurant was pretty spacious and clean, the staff super friendly, and my order came out quickly and it was super fresh. I can't wait to return. Tip keep the receipt for a discount on your next visit."

"June 2022 update They survived COVID and even managed to give the dining room a face lift. It is much lighter now and the floor was replaced. The food is just as good as its always been and the wait staff is still top notch. We were seated immediately, the wait staff was hustling. Interesting specials were available. The only thing that went south was that there is not as extensive of a wine list. There are still wines, but not as many. The Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich is not really that spicy but then again, my palate can handle a LOT of spice. Their hot sauce is very heavy in the oil department. It was a tasty chicken sandwich, but not particularly spicy. The grilled seafood salad was quite good and the white french dressing is very sweet. Another good experience and we really ought to visit more often. Always friendly staff. Mostly normal bar food but with a great chefs specials menu which is really interesting. Good, but small, wine last. Generally a great spot for dinner. Had an absolutely great meal between the chicken marsala and penne vodka. Another visit, and it was also successful. Two pizzas and gnocchi... gone in a flash!"

"I ordered a waffle and sausage links expecting a Belgian waffle, but what I received was more akin to a pancake with grill marks. Admittedly, the menu didn’t specify it was a Belgian waffle. The meat options, like bacon and sausage, weren't listed on the menu even though they were available as sides, so you'd have to either inquire about the prices or wait to find out. The sausage links were thicker but shorter than Italian sausage; however, they did have a nice flavor. The establishment was clean and felt well-organized, which I appreciated. I would consider returning."

"The food is on the very good side of what you’d expect from a little joint like this. I gathered that the grill guy is actually a real Chef and this is one of many “cook” jobs that he has. I watched/listened to him while he worked and he definitely seemed like pouring waffle batter and flipping eggs was a little below his skill level! The waitresses were a little matter of fact but treated everyone like they were in the “friends and family” club which was very nice! You’ll be wanting to leave a good tip. I’ve been to fancier places and not left as happy as I did here! You have to try this place at least once! I know I’ll be going back! Oh, the linguiça, onion and pepper omelette was VERY good!"

"I can't find any faults with this restaurant. I don't usually write reviews, but this place truly deserves recognition. The server was incredibly friendly. She did forget my drink at first, but with a group of eight, it was easy to overlook. Our food arrived in just 10 minutes and it was absolutely delicious, especially considering how quickly it was prepared. This restaurant is ideal for a quick meal; I would rank it as the best option for fast dining."
