"I have been frequenting this establishment since they first opened, and it continues to be a great place to socialize with friends and family. They recently updated their menu with a greater variety of options, including Korean BBQ. The portions in the combo meals are generous - even with a group of six people, we still had leftovers to take home. While it is not all-you-can-eat, the price for the combo option can be more affordable compared to other similar places when dining with a group. Unfortunately, they do not offer desserts and have discontinued their self-serve sauce station. During my visit, they seemed to be understaffed as the service was a bit lacking - we had to wait for staff attention when our broth was running low."

"It?s not the same Dong Hae Korean BBQ I used to know. Food: 4.5/5 Quality tender beef and fresh seafood. Marinated just right, not too salty. Portion seems to be small (probably due to inflation) with higher price. Service: 3/5 Waiters used to serve foodthe first round but they don?t do that anymore. Their service charge is automatically 18% for group 5+. Waiters no longer weartheir restaurant uniform. Our waitress wore yoga pant with open belly top just like she came out of a yoga class. Also note theycharge 4% for card payment. The new location has a convenient parking but have to pay for $5/4 hours. If you happen to dine outon Vikings game night, it?s hard to find near parking as expected. It took me half an hour to find a parking spot. The newlocation decor is not as nice as it used to be. The vibe is no longer there. Given the price of the meats hike up and the notso great dining experience, I?d hesitate to come back."

"This restaurant is absolutely beautiful, and they quickly customized the rest of my wife's omakase when I realized I hadn't mentioned that she doesn't eat seafood. The courses were incredible, and we left feeling completely satisfied. The service was the best I've ever experienced at a restaurant."

"We definitely plan to come back. The ambiance, decor, and presentation of the dishes were all outstanding. Our server Valentina was incredibly helpful and attentive. Some highlights of the meal included the delicious guacamole, the branzino I ordered accompanied by corn risotto, and the squid ink seafood risotto. We also tried the morcilla as an appetizer. The white sangria was delightful, and we finished off with the delicious balcarce dessert. It’s such a cozy spot, and I can't wait to enjoy the patio and live music next time!"

"Good food in a welcoming atmosphere. The staff waiting tables were a little green but they were enthusiastic which I will take over experienced and jaded any day! The food and wine menus menu were short but interesting with a large range of wines by the glass to match as you preferred rather than being limited to one or two reds or whites. We started with cocktails and were delighted with being served by the mixologist sommelier himself and given the background story of both with some interesting information on the ingredients and why they were chosen. It was a lovely start and set the tone for the evening. The food was tasty, not overwhelming in portion size (we are still giggling about the micro scallops! and mostly reasonably priced (the micro scallops were $22 and definitely not value for money very tasty though! given we were in Melbourne. We shared a dessert which didn’t ring any excitement bills but hit the sweet spot needed at the end of the meal. We would definitely go back and enjoy another meal at the Alexander Bar, and yes, we’ll be starting with a cocktail again."

"However, my main issue is that they added a tip to my credit card without my consent! This not only feels dishonest, but it’s also quite embarrassing on their part to act in such a way. I have my original receipt, as well as the charge from the bank, and from reading other reviews, it seems like this is a frequent occurrence for them. Because of this experience, I cannot recommend this place to anyone and will be informing others to steer clear, as they seem to think it's acceptable to take your money without permission."

"The best tofu in the world! I've tried many tofu places from New Jersey to New York, but this one stands out in my memory from a few years ago in New Jersey. I'm amazed that I didn't know it was right near me. The combination is a great value, the portion sizes are perfect, and everything is incredibly tasty. The side dishes are all my favorites – cucumber, radish, and kimchi! Delicious, delicious, delicious – this is the one!"

"This restaurant only accepts American Express or cash, which is good to keep in mind. It was a bit tricky to find since it’s situated on the second floor, and we had to take a small elevator to reach it. The menu features authentic Korean cuisine. Our waitress was fantastic; she took the time to explain the dishes and ensured we had everything we needed. The atmosphere is lively and cheerful, though it can get quite loud. We also enjoyed great views of the Empire State Building from our table."
