"Sparrow is a rooftop lounge and restaurant, but the atmosphere felt completely off. There are both indoor and outdoor seating options, depending on your mood and table availability. When we visited, the indoor area was dimly lit with loud music blasting from the speakers. This prompted us to request an outdoor table—not by choice, but out of necessity, as we struggled to hear each other. We found ourselves leaning in and practically shouting to converse.
The outdoor area wasn't much better; while the music was at a more manageable level, speakers were still present. We were seated in a corner spot, which was decent, but during my visit, there were no views to speak of that would distinguish it from any other sit-down restaurant. The outdoor seating did not meet my expectations; the chairs were quite low, and the high walls obstructed any potential views. Whether sitting or standing, it was impossible to see anything outside. The indoor seating, however, might offer a different experience, as I noticed floor-to-ceiling windows that could provide a nice view of the city.
As for the food and drinks, we tried a couple of cocktails, which were fantastic. We also ordered truffle fries, and they were crispy and delicious. The service was excellent, and I have no complaints in that regard. They do offer valet parking, but since I found a spot close by, I opted for street parking instead. Overall, I would recommend visiting Sparrow with some considerations in mind."
