"Checking in for the reservation was easy and quick. We were escorted upstairs immediately to the rooftop where we were seated. Our table had a great view of Melrose however, even with an umbrella on a 95° day, it was extremely hot! They had fans blowing, but it wasn’t enough to us cool. Service was terribly slow. I found myself multiple times, trying to get the attention of our waiter to follow up with us. Our reservation was on the earlier side of the brunch rush so the place wasn’t that busy yet. The drinks were fair. We had a Michelada, which they originally told me they couldn’t make. I was perplexed because all you need is beer and **** Mary mix, and we also ordered a Paloma The food was fair. We had the French toast and the truffle pizza. Nothing to write home about. The music was great. It was extremely loud and hard to hear your table conversation, but I also knew that when making the reservation because they were throwing a special event that day. Go for the views, the aesthetics, the music."
