Every super delicious hole in the wall doesn't look like much from the outside but when the food arrives, no longer how long you have to wait, it is always better then you could have imagined. That's Bonnie Jean's.<br/ <br/ The inside has a very comfortable, home like feel. There is lots of art on the walls and a couple TV's. You can tell this is a very popular neighborhood joint by the vibe and friendly service.<br/ <br/ We ordered the chicken and waffles SUPER delicious! It came with 2 pieces of fried chicken and a waffle with melted butter syrup. I asked for a side of gravy which made the chicken/waffle combo even better then I thought. Personally, the waffle could have been a bit more crispy, but non the less, still very good.<br/ <br/ The food took a while but we didn't mind. You can't complain about food taking long when it's cooked to order. Good, fresh food takes time and love. It was worth the wait. Trust me.<br/ <br/ If you're looking for some seriously good soul food, this is your joint. Everyone that worked there was friendly and happy. I'd go back there in a heart beat."
