"Maman coffee shops are a true gem in the bustling city of NYC. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted with an atmosphere that's both cozy and chic the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee or a specialty drink.Speaking of drinks, Maman offers some of the most exceptional and creative beverages you'll find in the city. Whether you're in the mood for a classic latte or something more adventurous like a lavender honey latte or a matcha latte, the baristas here know just how to craft the perfect drink. And if you're in the mood for something cold, their iced coffee and cold brew are always refreshing and flavorful. But it's not just the coffee that's noteworthy here Maman also offers a variety of other drinks, including freshly squeezed juices, smoothies, and specialty cocktails. Each drink is carefully crafted with fresh and high quality ingredients, resulting in a taste that's nothing short of amazing. The decor of Maman is just as impressive as the drinks themselves. The walls are adorned with beautiful and stylish decor, such as hanging greenery and unique light fixtures. The seating areas are cozy and comfortable, making it the perfect spot to work or catch up with friends.Overall, I can't recommend Maman coffee shops enough for anyone in search of a delightful drink experience in a beautiful setting. The drinks are exceptional, the decor is lovely, and the overall experience is nothing short of fantastic. 10/10, would definitely visit again."

"Is this Cafe Nala or Maggie's Treats? LOL. Everything that Maggie makes is unbelievably delicious. Her omelettes are SUPERB. She also makes a lot of baked goods herself every morning and I'm just floored by how good it is. You can tell she really loves her job and isn't just there to pass time. This extends to the entire staff. Kira, Oscar everyone! they're always really friendly and helpful and they seem genuinely glad to be there each and every day. I'm so happy that this is only a block away from my apartment (although it's also fairly dangerous since I'm there basically daily . I used to go to a competitor down the street who I won't name because it's not that they're bad exactly, but there's a certain moody, too cool to be kind vibe there that feels like I don't belong. For youngish single white hipsters if you will. Cafe Nala feels like it's for everyone and it's very family friendly (they're always so kind to my daughter and ask about her and our puppy whenever I go in. They even remember things that I mentioned days prior, and ask about them, like how my daughter's friend's birthday party was. I meet a lot of people in the shop who have lived in the neighborhood forever and there's an overall feeling of inclusion and camaraderie. Sorry this review is so long, but it's because Cafe Nala really is that good and I can't stop talking about it. You MUST go."

"Great aesthetic. Nice bartender. Met the owner. Nice guy, shared history of his business. Has a pool table that also converts to a ping pong table. Live music the night we went, they serve food. Why won 't we return? There is no 'heart ' in the place. For all the owner 's knowledge, you don 't feel warm and fuzzy. He has the business model down, but the vibe is like a cemetery. There was a kid roaming around. Looked to be 10 years old. I felt for her. Nobody to play with. We were coming to mellow, and apparently, they allowed kids. Maybe it 's a thing, the places we hand, no kids, ever. The kid stayed the whole time. Hard to have adult conversation with a 10 y/o on the bean bag chair next to you. The music was great. Felt bad the only place for him to set up was immediately inside side entrance. He had to keep cautioning people to be careful walking through his equipment. People walked through to get to the only bathroom. The owner stated he brought in chemists to make his product better not sure it was worth it. I 'm a casual kratom user. Tried his premium 'heavy hitter ' product. 32 Oz premium, filtered was $25. Price not the issue but literally a small effect for a short period. Lastly, the owner through shade at competitors. I get trying to sell yourself, great story, didn 't feel it was cool. The other places we go, the vibe is great, lots of heart, great vibes, ummm no children. Sad really, we live close, and we 're hoping it 'd be our new hang out. I wish the owner good luck, just not for us."
