"My family adores this restaurant! Everyone leaves satisfied. The menu offers a wide variety of vegan options including vegan samosas, vegan tofu tikka, vegan chana masala, vegan vegetable vindaloo, and vegan aloo paratha, which are all popular choices. Be sure to try the hari subzi and seasonal sukhi bhindi as well. The menu is extensive and clearly marked for those with dietary preferences."

"They have my favorite version of chicken tikka masala and I order it once a week, maybe twice. It comes with basmati rice and is enough for two people. I'm hooked on the stuff and they usually deliver a bit earlier than expected. You can't beat their gyros either. Love their food."

"Saffron Garden is one of the best preserved secrets in this area. Your new menu offers a long list of delicious appetizers and entrees served with integrity and good taste, and I always make sure to bring my guest friends and family here so that they can leave New York with a culinary experience they can never forget. In my experience, the cook was ready to accommodate the taste, preferences and limitations of the diet of its guests."

"Really nice restaurant that serves authentic Indian foods. When you first walk in you get the feeling, that you entered a buffet style restaurant. But you soon realize it’s a full serve restaurant. There’s plenty of pictures showing the food, as well as a really good description of the entrees. Tandoori Chicken -marinated chicken cooked in a clay oven Chicken Tikka Masala -chicken cooked in delicious creamy sauce Chicken Tikka- good pieces of chicken and served with mint sauce. Goat Biryani- Traditional Indian dish made with seasoned long-grained rice layered with tender goat cooked in a thick gravy. I love, love, love this rice dish."

"What a disappointment! I was looking for great Indian lunch and based on the ratings here I choose to check their food. I am writing while the food in front of me. The chicken is really bad and from the taste you could tell, it have been cooked a whileago and have been setting for hours. Disgusting ????. Also the Masala is a juicy Masala .. they put so much water in it that itwould be better if they changed the packaging to a bottle instead of a bowl. Even the white plain rice was not cooked well andvery dry !!! If a restaurant can?t even prepare a simple plain bowl of rice how could they prepare Indian food?!! I triedanother Indian restaurant with the same price range as this one yet their food was of way much better quality than this one."

"The food at this restaurant was tasty. We tried the chicken tacos, mixed grill appetizers, and naan, all of which were enjoyable. The staff was polite, but there were a few downsides. My water went empty and was never refilled, and when the waitress noticed, she didn't bring a jug. I wouldn't classify this as fine dining since there were only two occupied tables and two waitresses. When I asked for hot sauce, they gave me a sweet chili sauce, which I later learned was their vindaloo sauce, and I was charged $5 for it! I could easily buy a bottle of hot sauce for that price. While I appreciate the experience, I won’t be returning. I suggest being a bit more attentive to customers in the future. Waitstaff should ensure customer satisfaction before expecting a 20% tip. Overall, I don't recommend this place. Perhaps consider delivery to avoid interaction with the staff."

"The food is consistently good and the service is attentive. The music is subdued, which is good for an Indian restaurant. What was most annoying during our latest visit (12/16/18) was that at one point, the music was turned up way too LOUD for a performance by an (Far East) Asian belly-dancer. The music was Indianized Christmas music, which is horrific at best. Further, belly-dancing is not very common for the Indian sub-continent. She was doing a good job in handing out candy canes to the customers, while in a red and white Christmas belly-dancer outfit...but it was very out of place, and most customers (almost all were not Indians) seemed uneasy by the performance interrupting a pleasant dinner out. I would urge this Indian restaurant to reconsider their entertainment choice."

"I had been sent off by a few people because I LOVE prime rib. I had just heard great things about the restaurant. Unfortunately the whole experience was disappointing for us. We had reserved at the open table and requested a stand. When we got there, the hostess didn't confirm our reservation when we told her we booked them online and still got us to a table. She was our waitress and was pretty good. The drinks were well made but small for the price. We ordered the prime rib. I got the girls cut and my husband got the kings cut which is about a $ 20 difference in price. When they came out, they were exactly the smaller portion I ordered in length and thickness. We ordered medium rarity (which it came), but it had no flavor and was extremely tough. If there's one thing I love almost as much as prime rib, it's ranch dressing. It was chunky and tasted terrible. (and no, it wasn't blue cheese) To get our USD 100 bill at the end of our meal, we were both utterly disappointed with the entire meal. The quality did not reflect the cost."

"Probably the best Indian food I've ever had. They deliver, and if you run into Mr. Kalia himself, he's an amazing, bright, happy personality and is as hospitable as they come. Amazing food, the 1-6 spicy scale is no joke, I love spicy food and I top out at a 4. Perfect for the lunch buffet, or an amazing dinner. Share or oder individual plates, there's something for everyone : Edit: It's been 5 years, and I'm still amazed by how good and consistent the food is every time. The owner really loves and cares about his customers, I can't recommend this place enough"

"Hello RajMahal Indian restaurant,The food here is not at all up to the mark. We went there in the evening times in a chilly weather, but we are not satisfied with the food.We ordered :1. Mango lassi2. Mutter paneer3. Garlic naan4. Shrimp pakora5. Chicken soup6. Chicken fried rice.To be truth, only the mango juice is so good other than all every item is bad. Do they cook it fresh it is oily and it’s not all good to eat.But the vibe in the restaurant is kind of peace and calm with a good music but it shows why the people are not here too.Well, for the people who like to add the sweetness in every item, this is the very good place to visit.Feedback for restaurantI think you have to start stopping the sweet sauce in every item, also the food that you are serving is too much oily please fix that.Well, there are a lot to tell you but keep moving.Cheers guys, Have a good one."

"First time back after Covid and was sad to learn the place had changed ownership. They still had desserts and a salad bar. The familiar dishes were still on the buffet. However, the taste isn’t how I remembered it to be. A little bit bland. Also, their mango ice cream, an old time favorite tasted more of cream than mango. They still provide naan on the side but this time, we only got 2 pieces of naan( 1/2 of a naan each). Staff looked angry and not at all attentive. In the past, if we ran out of naan, the kind lady would ask if we needed more naan. I won’t return."

"Went for an impromptu early dinner. What a treat. Had beef samosas and a basket of assorted Indian breads as appetizers. Delicious. Continued with Fish Vindaloo Chicken Chilli Masala (requested both at medium spicy levels). Both dishes were excellent in my opinion, and I'm comparing to similar meals I have had in India. The accompanying rice was good, though small bowl frankly for two people. Continued with pistachio ice cream and a very, very, delicious rice pudding, which was not only refreshing but had a most subtle essence of cardamom. We will return soon and have recommended it to friends already."

"First time at Royal of India was for the Saturday lunch buffet. It was stellar! There was a great array of veggie and paneer dishes, plus chicken and goat. The buffet included raita, pakora, samosas, several chutneys, and kachumber salad. A basket of naan graced every table. And, in addition to all the delicious food, you can enjoy mango juice, perfectly sweetened steaming chai, and ice cream to top it off! Great value for the buffet and wonderful flavor. Only comment is the food is mild so if you are looking for spicy food you would have to order off the menu."

"the bombay palace is a jewel of a restaurant located in front of location, with authentic and tasteful Indian cuisine. Although it is a small restaurant, it is immaculately clean, the service is fast and polite, and the staff is very dedicated to the needs of food. we often have the same server every time we eat here, and he always remembers our usual order the samosas, chana masala, veg jal frazie, and two roti, all without milk. the vegetarian section of the menu is extensive, and they can be made vegan for almost everything on it (with obvious exceptions, like the discs). The roti and samosa are also vegan when they order them without butter. they're taking your guts on a little car. they get a huge common plate of cardamom jasmine rice, and each curry comes in a tiny carnival (a bowl over a candle to keep it warm.) the server checked to ensure that everything is in order, and then leave them alone, except their drinks once or twice refilling and coupled with the private stalls and Indian music playing in the background, this creates a very cozy atmosphere. everything we've ever eaten in the bombay palace was phenomenal! this is one of our favorite restaurants."

"I have been fortunate enough to dine at Spice Grill on several rainy days, both under the previous and current ownership. The customer service is consistently excellent, and the food is abundant and incredibly tasty! Recently, I tried their delivery service for the first time and was impressed by the personal delivery from the manager, who was very friendly and polite. The food arrived hot and fresh, and the portion sizes were very generous. A helpful tip: avoid ordering from GrubHub, as they take a 30% commission. It is recommended to order from Grover or contact the restaurant directly to place an order."

"I will never ever visit this restaurant again. There are many things that have happened so I will never prefer to go again1. I ordered mango lasi and when I tasted it I saw some type of spice taste in it so I told the server to change it but he refused to change and his behaved so rudely.2. The amount they charged us in the bill and the amount which was the price menu was not the same. it was our mistake to crosscheck the bill again. we checked the bill but only the items not the amount.3. It's too pricey, we ordered lunch buffet My husband ordered 3 types of non veg curry but all the curries are same)4. After eating food me and my husband even our friends also got sick. Now the Conclusion is that we will never go to this restaurant again.Don't waste your money. The staff member was so rude.I am paying them for the food and services they are giving not for the insult their staff member did."

"This place has been in Diamond Bar for many years. I first visited this spot around 2006 or so when my older sister first brought me here to try Indian food for the first time.I’ve seen this place change interior I think twice over the times I’ve visited, and it seems like it’s stayed under the same ownership for many years (not sure how many times they did change ownership if ever).I give this place 5 stars because it’s always been consistent taste wise, interior is always clean and well kept, and employees are always kind and super attentive even if it’s 2 people eating at the time. As a former server, I know they put in all this effort to keep people coming back, and they’ve been doing it for over 10 years.I appreciate that they haven’t made sacrifices in the food due to rising costs."

"I recently visited East Lansing from California, and Indian cuisine is one of my absolute favorites—especially the spicy dishes! During my stay in Okemos, I decided to try Persis Indian Grill, ordering the chicken vindaloo with extra spice. Unfortunately, I was let down twice by that choice. However, I’m glad I made the decision to check out Swagath as it truly delivered! The flavors were incredible and the spice level was just right. It’s been a challenge to find genuinely spicy and authentic Indian food, so I’m thrilled I gave this restaurant a shot. This will definitely be my go-to spot whenever I'm in town. Thank you for not being afraid to bring on the spice! That said, the rice was a bit of a letdown and didn't meet my expectations compared to what I’m used to in California. I like my rice cooked to perfection, but aside from that, everything else was excellent! The young man who took our order was very friendly and welcoming. I can’t wait to try more of your delicious dishes. Thank you!"

"Great people, amazing food. This is my go to restaurant because it’s close to where I live and they make the best Indian food for a decent price. I can talk with the people and treat them as friends, have a good laugh and just overall make great conversation. The food and the hot sauce, truly tastes amazing since they make from scratch. They will always have my business."
