"I was looking forward to enjoying a meal outside on a lovely day with a nice breeze. Unfortunately, the corned beef hash I ordered, which I expected to be homemade, fell short—it was burnt and overly salty, far from the comforting dish I had hoped for. The corned beef hash and eggs were lukewarm, while the potatoes were the only thing served hot. I wasn't asked my preference for a side—oatmeal, grits, or potatoes—so I had to shout "potatoes" after the inattentive waiter walked away.
Instead of my desired bagel, I received a toasted sesame bagel, which I dislike, but a replacement plain bagel was at least warm. Our pleasant day was disrupted by a loud diesel delivery truck that parked next to us, keeping its engine running for 15 minutes as it unloaded. To make matters worse, a young woman in a BMW honked her horn impatiently, demanding that the truck move to let her out of the parking lot. I could tolerate the sirens from a passing fire truck, but the overall experience was frustrating.
The staff seemed rushed, dropping off food without checking if we needed anything else, like a plain bagel. I had already mentioned their inattentiveness. On a positive note, the prices were reasonable, and when I paid, they did express their gratitude for the 20% tip."
